Double trouble

Every Sunday, thousands of budding MTT warriors take to the tables, eagerly loading up a schedule of events to play.

Top of anyone's list is the PokerStars Sunday Million. This is the big one where life changing money is on offer and many fairytales have been written. The second biggest tournament of the week is the PokerStars Sunday Warmup, another monster tournament with a $750,000 guaranteed prize pool.

This week PokerStars have decided to run both the Sunday Million and the Sunday Warmup twice, giving you double the chance to get that score!

The first Sunday Warmup will run at 16:00 GMT and the second will run half an hour later at 16:30 GMT. As for the Sunday Million, the first Million runs at its usual slot of 19:30 GMT with the second at 20:00 GMT.

What's more, the guarantees remain the same for all four tournaments. Good luck if you take part!

WSOPE – Romanello eyes Triple Crown

The second event of the 2011 WSOPE reached its final table last night, with one man still in the hunt to join the elusive Triple Crown winners club.

Welshman Roberto Romanello sits in 3rd place coming into the final table of Event 2 €1,090 NL Hold'em trailing Gianluca Speranza and Andrew Hinrichsen.

The final table kicks off at 12:00 GMT and there will be a live stream provided by WSOP.

Meanwhile Event #3, €5,300 PLO is well underway with Shannon Shorr leading the way after day 1 and 49 players remaining from an initial 180 starters.

High stakes corner

Team PokerStars Online Pro Ta-Chih "socutiesf" Geeng had another great day at the PokerStars PLO tables yesterday and again is the top earner for the past 24 hours, winning $75,191 according to HSDB.

On a relatively quiet high stakes day the biggest losers of the day were "VietRussian" and Ilari "IlariFIN" Sahamies, dropping $72,507 and $43,341 respectively. 

Between the Devilfish and the deep blue sea

Excuse the pun, but PokerTube caught up with Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott this week on the beachside at Cannes.

Ulliott gave one of his most honest interviews and discusses the current state of poker, as well as his personal situation, clear to point out that he makes an excellent candidate for sponsorship given his razor sharp wit and popularity amongst the railbirds.
