The science of waterslides with Liv Boeree at the PCA

Get a science lesson from the Team PokerStars Pro while enjoying the majesty of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.

There is very little Liv Boeree cannot do, but science in particular comes naturally to the PokerStars Pro and this week we stumbled across this new web series she is hosting where she explains the science of fun stuff, with a few Team PokerStars friends joining her along the way.

Here she is at Paradise Island for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure about to race Main Event champion Chris Moneymaker on the 'Leap of Faith' - a 60 ft waterslide on the iconic Mayan Temple:

Get to Paradise Island next year

leap faith slide

If that looks like your sort of thing, it is one of many reasons to qualify for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, which takes place between January 6-14 next year.

Next year PokerStars are planning on sending 400 online qualifiers to the event, and the buy-in has increased from $5,000 to $10,300. All of which means it is likely to see a massive boost in terms of prize pool, as well as the general softness of the field.

If playing for millions on a luxury island wasn't enough, there is also the prospect of watching Usain Bolt vs Kevin Hart, as the fastest man in the world takes on the highest paid comedian in the world in a heads-up match.

If the winter blues are getting you down, get qualifying now on PokerStars.
