Three US States to share poker liquidity

We round-up some stories you may have missed including great news for US poker and three well known poker pros are the victims of a scam.

Interstate poker is coming

Big news Stateside as on May 1, will be the first online poker room to merge the player pools of three ringfenced poker States. New Jersey, Nevada and Delaware will come together for the largest regulated player pool in America. 

This is the first time since 2011 that players will be able to compete against other players from different States, with a combined estimated player pool of 13 million. Specifically at this also means that players can compete in online bracelet events in America without being in Las Vegas. 

Super Bowl scam costs Seidel and Juanda

Erik Seidel, John Juanda and Zachary Clark are in courst suing Seyed Reza Ali Fazeli after a Super Bowl Ticket scam which cost them $1.3 million combined.

The three poker pros had invested the money assuming Fazeli was going to use the money to buy 2,800 tickets for the Super Bowl, which would be resold at a profit. However, court documents allege he never bought the tickets. 

The documents state that instead Fazeli used the money to pay off debts and buy into high stakes poker tournaments at the Aria. He has pleaded not guilty.
