wann2play wins the WCOOP Main Event for $1,352,967

Two millionaires were made at a tough final table in online poker's version of the WSOP Main Event.

It's always the biggest event of the poker year (until this December) and once again the WCOOP Main Event was a who's who of high stakes poker.

1,572 players entered and 472 of those rebought to comfortably make the $10 million guarantee, and the final table included Linus 'LLinusLLove' Loeliger (who had won the biggest WCOOP event prior to that this year) and former PokerStars Pro Noah 'Exclusive' Boeken.

However it was relative unknowns 'eze88888' of Argentina and 'wann2play' of the Netherlands who would duke it out for $200,000 and a Platinum Pass, after a heads-up deal that guaranteed they both became millionaires.

The identity of the eventual winner 'wann2play' will not stay unknown for long, assuming they decide to use their $30,000 Platinum Pass next year at the PSPC.

Special mention has to go to 'LLinusLLove' and 'mczhang' who despite playing the final table of the biggest event in poker, he also played in the $25,000 event last night at the same time and made the final table of that at the same time. 'LLinusLLove' won $120,938 in that tournament and 'mczhang' won $336,740. The event was won by 'limitless' for $725,847.

This was the first year this event ran alongside a $55 low stakes version of the Main Event, which attracted a staggering 39,817 entries and was won by 'wellingtowap' for $193,036.92

If you have been playing in our WCOOP Fantasy League stay tuned, we will be updating the final scores later on today.
