Naast het nieuws dat Ivey zijn villa in Las Vegas<\/a> voor $2 miljoen verkoopt, circuleerde de afgelopen week ook twee andere interessante berichten met betrekking tot Ivey. <\/p>

$5 miljoen WSOP bracelet weddenschap<\/h2>

Ten eerste liet PokerListings weten dat Daniel Negreanu tijdens het recentelijk gespeelde WPT Championship aan één van hun verslaggevers vertelde dat Ivey een weddenschap van $5 miljoen met Howard Lederer had afgesloten.<\/p>

In deze weddenschap zal de verliezer $5 miljoen aan de winnaar betalen. Om te winnen dient Ivey twee bracelets te winnen tijdens de volgende twee WSOPs. Eerder wist Ivey reeds twee bracelets in 2009 en drie bracelets in 2002 te winnen.<\/p>

\"The Ivey Room\" in het Aria Casino<\/h2>

Volgens een post op het 2+2 forum is Ivey benaderd door het Aria Casino in Las Vegas om high stakes spelers in Vegas aan te trekken. Deze samenwerking resulteert in de opening van \"The Ivey Room\" ergens in mei.<\/p>

De 2+2 poster noemde ook een $1 miljoen invitatietoernooi dat op 22 mei gehouden zal worden. Volgens de poster heeft het event een eerste prijs van $250k en een premie van $100k voor degene die er in slaagt Ivey uit te schakelen. Daarnaast zal de winnaar voor $250k heads-up tegen Ivey mogen spelen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
