Hij verloor en won daarbij miljoenen in een periode van een aantal dagen.<\/p><p>Zijn carri&egrave;re leek ten einde te zijn toen hij een enorm bedrag verloor aan Brian Hastings. Hij verdween van de pokertafels, maar keerde terug via PokerStars. De grootste pokerroom ter wereld kondigde namelijk aan Isildur1 toe te voegen aan hun PokerStars Pro Team, waardoor hij opnieuw plaats kon nemen aan de tafels.<\/p><p>PokerStars heeft het mysterie omtrent zijn identiteit een tijdje in stand gehouden, maar gaf wel aan het te onthullen bij de start van het PokerStars.com Carribean Adventure. Dit toernooi begon donderdag met het Super High Roller event, waar ook Isildur1 (weliswaar anoniem) aan deelnam.<\/p><h2>Liever geen media-aandacht<\/h2><p>Op de persconferentie in de Bahamas leerden we ook de speler achter de naam beter kennen. Hij verklaarde de anonimiteit te verkiezen, zodat hij zich \"louter en alleen op het spel zou kunnen concentreren, zonder daarbij blootgesteld te worden aan teveel media-aandacht.\" Het aanbod van PokerStars kon hij echter niet laten liggen, omdat ze \"de grootste site zijn en ze de juiste dingen doen.\"<\/p><p>De jonge Zweed woont overigens nog thuis, waar hij ook niet al te vaak over poker sprak. Hoewel zijn ouders hem steunden, besloot hij verstandig te zwijgen over de enorme swings waarmee hij te maken kreeg.<\/p><h2>Meer live toernooien in de toekomst<\/h2><p>In de toekomst is Blom van plan om meer live toernooien te spelen. Hij geeft aan dat live spelen &eacute;&eacute;n van zijn grote zwaktes is, omdat hij over weinig geduld beschikt. \"In de toekomst ga ik trachten meer te folden\", zei hij glimlachend.<\/p><p>Aan beginnende pokerspelers geeft hij de tip om het \"langzaam aan\" te doen. \"Al ben ik misschien niet de juiste persoon om die boodschap uit te dragen\", voegde hij er snel aan toe.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/img5.imageshack.us\/img5\/9761\/isildur1pca2011.jpg\" alt=\"blom\" width=\"570\" height=\"429\" style=\"display: block;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Er werd lange tijd gespeculeerd over de ware identiteit van Isildur1, maar nu is zijn echte naam officieel bekend gemaakt: Viktor Blom.
