Allen streden zij om de hoofdprijs van $273.664 in het Hollywood Casino in Indiana, waar de Hollywood Open plaatsvond. De finaletafel werd na drie dagen spelen bereikt en zag er als volgt uit:<\/p><p>Seat 1. Andy Whetstone <br>Seat 2. Erik Seidel <br>Seat 3. Ali Eslami <br>Seat 4. Tom Marchese <br>Seat 5. Mike Scarborough <br>Seat 6. William Reynolds<\/p><p>Wederom was Erik Seidel dus te vinden aan een finaletafel van een groot event. In 2011 heeft de Amerikaan al ruim $4,3 miljoen weten te winnen en het ene succes volgt het andere op. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pokerstrategy.com\/nl\/forum\/search.php?searchid=556919\">Hier<\/a> kun je een aantal van zijn overwinningen in 2011 terugvinden.<\/p><h2>Semi-pro is favorieten te slim af<\/h2><p>Het was echter niet Seidel die dit keer met de titel naar huis toe ging. De onbekende semi-pro Mike Scarborough was alle favorieten te slim af. De overwinning was absoluut terecht, zoals ook verschillende spelers later zouden erkennen. Enkele vroegen zich hardop af waarom \"The Cincinnati Kid\" nog overwoog om te blijven werken naast zijn bestaan als pokerspeler.<\/p><p>De man die nog het dichtste in de buurt kwam van Scarborough? Juist, wederom Erik Seidel, die alweer een topresultaat wist te behalen en met zijn tweede plaats ruim $150.000 mocht bijschrijven op zijn rekening.
