WCOOP winnaars #6 & #7<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Gisteren was het Dag 3 van de World Championship Of Online Poker, tijd voor de iets exotischere varianten van het spel. Maandag was er al een eerste Nederlandse winnaar<\/a>, dinsdag ging het wat minder goed voor de Nederlanders en Belgen. <\/p>

 <\/p>

WCOOP #6 was een Five-card draw No-Limit toernooi. 540 spelers betaalde de $215 buy-in en zorgde voor een prijzenpot van $108.000. Dat is meer dan een verdubbeling van de gegarandeerde prijzenpot, PokerStars speelt het wel heel veilig op deze toernooiserie. De bracelet was voor de Canadees '7PRS'<\/strong>, samen met de hoofdprijs van $20.520. De Poolse Team PokerStars Pro Marcin 'Goral' Horecki<\/strong> kwam nog dicht bij de titel maar hij moest tevreden zijn met de 6de plaats, goed voor $3.456.<\/p>

640 spelers kwamen opdagen voor WCOOP #7, $215 Triple Stud. In dit toernooi speelde men afwisselend Stud High, Seven Card Stud Low en Stud Hi\/Lo. De titel ging naar Oostenrijk, 'Falco24<\/strong>' won het event en $24.064. EPT winnaar Frederik 'Fred_Brink' Jensen <\/strong>werd vierde en verdiende zo $9.600. De Deen doet het ook live goed want hij speelt nog mee in het Partouche Main Event. Beste Nederlander was 'SM4RTASS'<\/strong> op de 37ste plaats ($640). <\/p>

Ook event #8 ging gisteren van start, een $1.050 No-Limit Hold'em toernooi. Van de 1574 deelnemers zullen er nog 78 starten op Dag 2. Deze overblijvers zijn al allemaal zeker van $3.462 maar spelen natuurlijk voor de hoofdprijs van $262.936. Mexicaanse Team PokerStars Pro Christian <\/strong>'el Grillo<\/strong>' de Leon<\/strong> is ook nog in de running voor de bracelet. Ook de Nederlanders Olaf 'idolaf' de Zeeuw <\/strong>en 'pokerkluka' <\/strong>kunnen de titel in dit event nog winnen.<\/p>

Elke dag om 21u is er natuurlijk ook WCOOP Radio. Alle hoogtepunten van de radioshow van de vorige dagen kan je hier<\/a> nog altijd herbeluisteren.<\/p>

Partouche Poker Tour Main Event<\/h2>

Gisteren was het Dag 1B van het Partouche Poker Tour Main Event (€8.500 buy-in). De Nederlander Johan van Til<\/strong> had een goede dag, hij was op het einde van 1B de chipleader met 179.500 chips. Govert Metaal<\/strong> die op Dag 1A nog werd uitgeschakeld kocht zich opnieuw in en met succes, hij begint vandaag met 105.300 chips.  <\/p>

Vandaag beginnen alle overblijvers aan Dag 2. In totaal zijn er nog 278 spelers van de 573 over. Andere bekende namen die vandaag nog in actie komen zijn onder meer Patrick Antonius<\/strong> (87.200), Justin Bonomo<\/strong> (77.700) en Team PokerStars Pro David Williams<\/strong> (120.400). Voor Tom 'durrrr' Dwan<\/strong> was het een minder goede dag. Hij kocht zich nog op het nippertje in en begon vandaag pas aan het toernooi. In zijn eerste hand ging hij all-in met KK<\/strong> maar hij had hulp nodig tegen de AA <\/strong>van zijn tegenstander. Die hulp kwam er niet en het toernooi was al na 1 hand gedaan voor Dwan. Waarschijnlijk zien we hem wel op vrijdag terug, dan begint de €25.000 High Roller in Cannes. <\/p>

Poker After Dark - Swings<\/h2>

Elke pokerspeler weet dat hij af en toe wel wat geluk kan gebruiken. Deze spelers in Poker After Dark dachten dat het geluk vandaag aan hun kant stond. Maar iedereen weet dat dit snel kan veranderen.<\/p>
