Na meer dan vijf weken en 62 events is afgelopen zaterdag onze eerste PokerStrategy.com Open Series bij \"PokerStars\" PokerStars<\/a> (PokerStars.be<\/a> voor Belgen) afgerond met een $20.000 Main Event. <\/p>

Rusland had de series al gewonnen en is uitgekomen op 14 gouden medailles en 34 medailles in totaal. Duitsland werd tweede met 10 gouden medailles en een totaal van 19 medailles.<\/p>

Het was echter de Servische speler 'GiletteSRB' die ons Main Event en de hoofdprijs van $4.090 wist te winnen. Niet alleen was dit de grootste cash van de series, maar hij kwam hiermee direct bovenaan de lijst van individuele winnaars.<\/p>

Uiteindelijk was iedereen in deze serie een winnaar, vanwege het aantal overlays dat we gedurende de serie hadden. De serie garandeerde in totaal $100.000, en er werd voor $25.915 aan overlays uitbetaald.

Helaas werd het voorlaatste event, de $11 PLO, wegens technische problemen geannuleerd. Dit wordt nog onderzocht, en we zullen hier op korte termijn een update over geven. <\/p>
