TCOOP - Nederlanders goed van start<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

De eerste grote toernooiserie van het jaar is van start gegaan op PokerStars<\/a> (PokerStars.be<\/a> voor België). Nog tot volgende week zondag kun je spelen in de Turbo Championship of Online Poker 2013. In totaal zijn er 50 turbo events, de eerste vier events zijn ondertussen al achter de rug. <\/p>

Event-#01 $27 No-Limit Hold'em 6-max had maar liefst 38.176 deelnemers, goed voor een prijzenpot van $937.220. Na een kleine zes uur spelen hadden we al een winnaar: 'jogin23<\/strong>' uit Slowakije mocht $65.382 mee naar huis nemen. De beste Nederlander was 'redsnapper30<\/strong>', hij eindigde op de negende plaats. Redsnapper30 moest zo tevreden zijn met $5.389. <\/p>

Het tweede event was een $55 NL Omaha Hi\/Lo toernooi. 3.144 spelers gingen van start in dit event, er was echter weinig succes weggelegd voor de Nederlanders en Belgen in het toernooi. De Canadees 'Yaba<\/strong>' ging uiteindelijk met de hoofdprijs van $22.339 naar huis.<\/p>

De Nederlander 'tonn22<\/strong>' kwam dicht bij de overwinning in het derde event van de TCOOP: het $215 No-Limit Hold'em Knockout toernooi. Door de 4.632 deelnemers was de hoofdprijs goed voor $117.750. Tonn22 was goed op weg om heads-up te gaan strijden voor de titel, maar hij verloor de laatste cruciale hand: met \"\" \"\" was hij all-in tegen \"\" \"\" van de Rus 'max700<\/strong>'. Het board kwam \"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\" en max700 ging met de monsterpot aan de haal. Een derde plaats dus voor de Nederlander, die $61.875 en 14 bounty's mocht bijschrijven. 'Patokaka2007<\/strong>' uit Zwitserland<\/strong> won uiteindelijk het toernooi. <\/p>

Ook in Event-#04 $55 No-Limit Hold'em kwam een Nederlander net iets tekort voor de overwinning: 'JSlaats<\/strong>' speelde heads-up tegen de bekende Australische speler Jonathan<\/strong> 'MONSTER_DONG' Karamalikis<\/strong>. JSlaats zag zijn kans om het toernooi te winnen maar hij verloor in de laatste hand met 66<\/strong> tegen de AK<\/strong> van Jonathan. Geen Nederlandse overwinning dus, maar wel een mooie tweede plaats, goed voor $44.167. Karamalikis ging naar huis met nog ruim $15.000 extra.<\/p>

Een goede start voor de Nederlanders in de TCOOP. Hopelijk hoeven we niet lang te wachten op een overwinning voor de lage landen, en laten we met name duimen voor onze eigen communityleden die in de TCOOP meespelen.<\/p>

NBC Heads-up: 32 namen bekend<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Volgende week donderdag begint in Vegas het NBC Heads-up Championship<\/a>. Na een jaartje afwezigheid is het $25.000 buy-in heads-up toernooi dit jaar terug van weggeweest. <\/p>

Deze week kondigde de organisatie de eerste helft van het deelnemersveld aan: de eerste 32 namen kan je hier terugvinden<\/a>.
Onder heen ook de winnaar van 2011: Erik Seidel<\/strong>, hij mocht toen $750.000 bijschrijven. Andere bekende namen voor deze editie zijn onder andere: Tom Dwan<\/strong>, Phil Galfond<\/strong>, Phil Ivey<\/strong>, Scott Seiver <\/strong>en WSOP Main Event winnaar Greg Merson<\/strong>. De opnames van het toernooi zullen in maart worden uitgezonden op het NBC netwerk.<\/p>

Andre 'acoimbra' Coimbra challenge & docu<\/h2>

Het Portugese lid van Team PokerStars Pro Online Andre <\/strong>'acoimbra' Coimbra<\/strong> heeft deze week een nieuwe pokerchallenge gelanceerd. Andre wil $100 omzetten naar maar liefst $100.000 via Sit & Go-toernooien op PokerStars. Het mooie aan de challenge is, dat hij al zijn gewonnen geld zal weggeven aan een goed doel. <\/p>

Deze week verscheen er ook een korte documentaire over de Portugees. Daarin vertelt hij hoe hij is begonnen met poker en hoe hij vooruitgang maakte. Het verhaal kun je hieronder bekijken:<\/p>
