Norbert Szecsi wint Event #42: $1.000 No-Limit Hold'em<\/h2>

De finaletafel van Event #42 moet één van de snelste zijn geweest van deze zomer: na 132 handen en vijf uur spelen was het toernooi al afgelopen. <\/p>

De Hongaar Norbert Szecsi heeft uiteindelijk de bracelet en hoofdprijs van $345.037 mee naar huis genomen. Het is meteen ook de grootste cash ooit voor Szecsi; voor dit toernooi had hij $137.207 aan live toernooiwinsten op zijn naam staan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Jesse Martin wint Event #43: $10.000 2-7 No-Limit Draw Lowball<\/h2>

Een enorm sterke finaletafel ging gisteren van start in het 2-7 toernooi; samen waren de zeven finalisten goed voor maar liefst 16 WSOP-bracelets.<\/p>

David 'Bakes' Baker was heel even dicht bij zijn derde gouden bracelet, maar het mirakel voor Jesse Martin kwam er toch en hij kon verdubbelen. Bakes kon zich niet meer van deze klap herstellen en hij moest uiteindelijk tevreden zijn met de tweede plaats. <\/p>

Jesse Martin was heel emotioneel na zijn overwinning, na jaren grinden heeft hij immers eindelijk zijn eerste WSOP-bracelet te pakken gekregen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Heel wat Belgen en Nederlanders<\/a> mochten aan Dag 2 van dit toernooi beginnen, spijtig genoeg zien we niemand van hen terug op Dag 3. Wie we vandaag wel in actie zien komen is Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier. Door de WSOP-bets<\/a> van Mercier staat er voor hem heel wat meer op het spel dan enkel de hoofdprijs van $592.684. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
