Dwan leest de hand van zijn tegenstander perfect<\/h2>

Greenstein raist vanuit UTG en aangezien hij een klassieke TAG is aan een tafel vol actiejunkies, zal zijn range erg tight zijn. Zijn continuation bet in een multiway pot versterkt deze aanname nog meer.<\/p>

Dwan beseft dat het best onwaarschijnlijk is dat Greenstein een full house geflopt heeft met TT, aangezien Dwan zelf de T<\/b><\/span> heeft en de T<\/b><\/span> op het board ligt. Hij besluit dus een flopraise te maken om een erg sterke hand te representeren en druk uit te oefenen op Greenstein. Aangezien er gespeeld wordt met erg diepe stacks, is dit in het voordeel van Dwan.<\/p>

Door de prima odds die hij krijgt, zal Eastgate preflop in de blinds met zowat elke twee kaarten gecalld hebben. Door de flopraise te coldcallen, geeft hij aan dat hij een 2 heeft. <\/p>

Dwan verwacht dat hero foldt en hij wordt beloond<\/h2>

Dwan haalt zijn voordeel uit het feit dat Eastgate weet dat Dwan hem op een erg nauwe range zal zetten.<\/p>

\"Ik weet dat je het hebt, maar toch ga ik nog steeds betten\" is wat de actie van Dwan zegt op de turn.<\/p>

Zowel Eastgate als Greenstein zijn te veel onder de indruk om met hun bluffcatchers down te callen en Dwan wint de hand zonder showdown.<\/p>

De perfecte inschatting van Dwan<\/h2>

Vanuit ons perspectief als toeschouwer is het altijd eenvoudiger om zo een situatie te beoordelen. Zelfs wanneer de hand achteraf logisch uitgelegd kan worden, is het toch compleet anders wanneer het zoals nu effectief gespeeld wordt aan de tafel.<\/p>

De meeste spelers, zelfs de goede, zouden wellicht niet eens gedacht hebben aan de mogelijkheid om tegen Greenstein te bluffen. Ze zouden \"call flop, call klaverkaart of tien op de turn, anders fold\" spelen. Bijna niemand zou heldhaftig genoeg zijn om ook maar te denken om de bluff door te zetten nadat Eastgate coldcallt op de flop.<\/p>

Dat is waarom Gabe Kaplan het recht heeft om te zeggen dat Dwan \"de zwakste hand heeft, maar het meeste lef\".<\/p>
