In Barcelona begonnen de spelers vandaag aan Dag 4 van het €5.300 buy-in Main Event. Nog 79 spelers strijden verder voor de hoofdprijs van €1.067.000.<\/p>

De opvallende bubbleboy van gisteren was Nuno Da Camara. Op zich niets speciaal, was het niet dat Da Camara niet was komen opdagen op Dag 3; zijn 83.500 chipstack was na enkele uren helemaal afgeblind. Uiteindelijk was hij op de big blind all-in en verzekerde hij alle anderen van minstens €8.680. <\/p>

De Nederlander Jaco van Loon (176ste - €8.680) en de Belg Kenny Hallaert (129ste - €10.000) moesten hierna al snel het toernooi verlaten. Ook olekonjole (123ste - €10.000) en november niner David Benefield (110ste - €11.350) en de winnaar van vorig jaar Mikalai Pobal (79ste - €12.700) moeten toekijken vanaf de rail. <\/p>

Wie we vandaag nog wel in actie zien zijn onder andere: Rens Feenstra, Team PokerStars Pro Christophe De Meulder en Kevin Vandersmissen. Vandersmissen begint vandaag als derde in chips aan Dag 4, hopelijk kan hij ook de dag afsluiten met een mooie chipstack. <\/p>

Jordan Cristos wint WPT Legends of Poker<\/h2>

Deze week was er naast de EPT ook een World Poker Tour toernooi: het WPT Legends of Poker $3.700 buy-in Event in het Bicycle Casino in Californië. Uiteindelijk kwamen er 716 spelers aan de start in dit toernooi, goed voor een prijzenpot van $2.430.820.<\/p>

Aan de finaletafel zaten met Phil Laak en Dan Heimiller twee bekende namen bij de laatste zes. Laak moest uiteindelijk het toernooi verlaten op de vijfde plaats. Hij kon toen met \"\"\"\" niet winnen van de \"\"\"\" van Jorand Cristos.<\/p>

Cristos zou het na enkele uren spelen heads-up opnemen tegen tweevoudig WSOP-braceletwinnaar Dan Heimiller voor de titel. In de laatste hand van het toernooi ging Heimiller all-in met \"\"\"\", Cristos maakte de call met \"\"\"\". Het board kwam \"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\" en Cristos verzekerde zich zo van de WPT-titel en hoofdprijs van $613.355. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Nieuwe PKR hand replayer<\/h2>

Pokerroom PKR<\/a> heeft een nieuwe hand replayer toegevoegd aan haar client. Vanaf nu kunnen spelers hun gespeelde handen in 3D vanuit verschillende camerastandpunten herbeleven. Zo kan je bijvoorbeeld kiezen voor de 'dynamic view' net zoals de meeste pokerprogramma's worden gefilmd. Spelers zullen de beelden ook kunnen bewerken en de gemaakte video uploaden via YouTube. PKR lijkt dus zo van plan om net als heel wat andere sites de verschillende sociale media te integreren in hun software. <\/p>
