Vandaag introduceren we weer een nieuwe coach voor de Engelse pokerschool.Jordyvde<\/a> is een micro- en lowstakes MTT-coach van onze Nederlandse community, waar hij een populaire blog heeft<\/a>.<\/p>

Zijn eerste video gaat over een gebied waar veel lowstakes MTT-spelers een tune-up zouden kunnen gebruiken - spelen na de flop.<\/p>

Vaak gaan MTT’s vooral over je preflop-acties, die de dingen tricky kunnen maken wanneer je terechtkomt in situaties op de flop, turn en river.<\/p>

Onze coach kwam van een cashgames-achtergrond voordat hij MTT’s ging spelen en dat heeft hem geholpen bij het spelen in tricky situaties na de flop. Vandaag deelt hij wat van die lessen, die je kunnen help om je winrate op de MTT’s te verbeteren.<\/p>

We spraken ook even met onze nieuwe MTT-coach, om wat meer te weten te komen over de video. Dat kun je hieronder lezen:<\/p>

Welkom bij de Engelse pokerschool, hoe lang speel je al MTT’s?<\/strong><\/p>

Jordyvde<\/a>: <\/strong>Ik speel nu ongeveer 9 maanden MTT’s, ben nog geen beroeps, maar hoop komend jaar pro te worden.<\/p>

Welke fouten zien je op de lowstakes MTT’s?<\/strong><\/p>

Jordyvde<\/a>: <\/strong>Het niet echt respecteren van variance. Toen ik zelf speelde op de microstakes had ik daar ook problemen mee. Verder denk ik dat veel microspelers een slechte mindset hebben. Bijvoorbeeld niet hard genoeg studeren en niet genoeg volume maken per maand.<\/p>

Hoe winstgevend zijn MTT’s in vergelijking met andere formats?<\/strong><\/p>

Jordyvde<\/a>: <\/strong>Ik weet niet veel over Spins, dus kan ik niet echt zeggen hoeveel geld je bij die games kunt maken. Ik zou zeggen dat cashgames behoorlijk opdrogen, nog steeds verslaanbaar zijn, maar het wordt iedere dag moeilijker. Ik denk dat recreationele spelers liever toernooien willen spelen dan cash, vanwege de grote prijzen aan de top.<\/p>

Je nieuwe video gaat over het postflop spelen in MTT’s, hebben lowstakes-spelers te veel een preflop mindset?<\/strong><\/p>

Jordyvde<\/a>: <\/strong>Ik zou het niet perse een preflop mindset noemen, hoewel ik denk dat de mensen gemiddeld preflop beter zijn dan postflop. Ik zeg echter niet dat je niet zou moeten werken aan je late game. In feite is het echte geld te winnen in je late game.<\/p>

Helpt het spelen van cash je om postflop te spelen in MTT’s?<\/strong><\/p>

Jordyvde<\/a>: <\/strong>Overall zou ik zeggen dat je altijd moet focussen op één format in poker. Wanneer je echter denkt dat je postflop problemen hebt, dan denk ik niet dat het slecht is om een of twee dagen in een week wat cashgames te spelen. Alleen om wat postflopervaring te krijgen en wat dingen uit te proberen. Ik kom zelf van een cashgame-achtergrond en merk dat ik vaak al vroeg in een toernooi verdubbel.<\/p>

Welke fouten zie je spelers maken na de flop?<\/strong><\/p>

Jordyvde<\/a>: <\/strong>Afbetalen met TPTK in vreemde situaties. Ik zie dat veel te vaak.<\/p>

Wat kunnen we in je toekomstige video’s verwachten?<\/strong><\/p>

Jordyvde<\/a>: <\/strong>Hopelijk veel finaletafel-reviews, want ik voel er wel wat voor om toernooien te shippen!<\/p>
