De online finaletafel<\/figcaption><\/figure>

De eerste van drie online-events van de World Series of Poker<\/a> van 2017, liep afgelopen week af op een ongebruikelijk manier (voor de WSOP, niet voor online poker).<\/p>

De $333 WSOP Online Little Grind was alleen klein in buy-in, want het trok een indrukwekkende 2.509 spelers aan<\/strong>.<\/p>

Hoewel het zonder twijfel een droom is om mogelijk een bracelet te winnen vanuit je comfortabele woning, is het een zelfs nog grotere droom om je tegenstander in de heads-up niet te zien opdagen. Dat is wat gebeurde met de uiteindelijke kampioen Joseph Mitchell, daar Mark Scacewater lange tijd geen verbinding had tijdens de heads-up match.<\/strong><\/p>

Dit zorgde er voor dat zijn blinds verdwenen tot hij eindelijk weer verbinding kreeg, maar de schade was al aangericht, Scacewater had bijna niets meer en hield het nog maar twee handen vol. Hij won altijd nog $73.539 maar het was Mitchell die de bracelet pakte en de eerste prijs van $122.314.<\/strong><\/p>

Verbroken verbindingen zijn niet ongebruikelijk in grote online events, nog maar afgelopen maand verloor Charlie Carrrel zijn verbinding en moest als een speer naar een Starbucks om het SCOOP Main Event te winnen.<\/p>

Dit is echter de eerste keer in de geschiedenis dat een bracelet werd gewonnen vanwege een verbroken internetconnectie.<\/p>
