Alhoewel er meer spelers worden verwacht voor dag 1B zal het aantal deelenemers van afgelopen jaar, 389 spelers, waarschijnlijk niet gehaald worden. Maar nog steeds zal het geen makkelijk opgave zijn aangezien er toch een aantal professionals hun weg naar Dublin hebben gevonden:<\/p>

Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier, Pascal Perrault, Andy Black, Dario Minieri, Noah Boeken, Rob Hollink, Thierry van den Berg, Johnny Lodden, Barny Boatman, Brandon Schaefer, Eric Seidel en nog veel meer. <\/p>

In totaal hebben 48 deelnemers dag 1A overleefd en zij zullen donderdag terugkomen om dag 2 te spelen. Onder de overgebleven professionals zitten Black (6e plaats, 45,675), Johnny Lodden (13e, 37,225), Noah Boeken (22e, 27,825), Brandon Schaefer (25e, 26,725) en Thierry van den Berg (38e, 14,250)<\/p>

Spelers zoals Luca Pagano, Annette ‘Annette_15' Obrestad, Roland de Wolfe en Florian ‘Margoth' Langmann, zullen woensdag starten.<\/p>

Tevens is onze collega David Markwartaanwezig bij de EPT in Dublin om voor ons verslag uit te brengen. Hieronder volgt een stuk geschreven door hem:<\/p>

Vanaf 30 Oktober tot en met 3 November wordt de EPT gespeeld in Baile Átha Cliath waar de sterren hun vaardigheden weer mogen laten zien.
Helaas is Dublin voor de rest van de wereld niet zo'n trekpleister wat als gevolg heeft dat er voor dag 1A maar 89 spelers hebben geregistreerd. Voor dag 1B hebben meer spelers aangegeven te komen, maar het totale aantal spelers en de prijzenpot zal niet erg groot zijn.<\/p>

<\/p>

Gelukkig zijn toernooien met minder deelnemers een voordeel voor de professionele spelers. De kans om verder te komen in het toernooi is veel groter dan bijvoorbeeld bij het WSOP Main Event met meer dan 6,000 deelnemers.<\/p>

Tournooi manager (Thomas Kremser) heeft spontaan de beginstacks verhoogt van  10,000 naar 15,000. Op de eerste dag worden er maar 7 blind levels gespeeld. Niettemin zijn er veel sterke spelers en het zal niet makkelijk worden voor Florian \"Margoth\" Langmann.  Maar we weten hoe goed hij speelt en zijn succes bij de EPT in Londen -dus vanaf woensdag moeten we duimen dat de dealers hem goede kaarten zal delen.
We zullen zo gedetailleerd mogelijk verslag uitbrengen over hoe Florian het doet. <\/p>
