Ethan ontsnapte dus met een split pot en kon de hoop nog even vasthouden dat hij de titel zou pakken.<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">Daarvoor zou hij wel eerst zijn enorme achterstand van meer dan 5:1 in chips moeten inlopen, maar bij no-limit is dat nooit onmogelijk zolang je nog chips hebt. De 111<sup>e<\/sup> hand kwam dan ook niet als een domper op zijn aspiraties, Heads up is een QJs een prima hand en het was dan ook niet gek dat hij de raise van Nguyen beantwoorde met een all-in call.<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">De coinflipsituatie was licht in het voordeel van Nguyen, maar met nog maar zo weinig stack van Ethan speelde de hand zichzelf. De turn gaf haar vervolgens een flusdraw met een <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-origin.pokerstrategy.com\/oldresources\/de\/PICS\/news\/Deck\/3d.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"24\" height=\"13\"><!-- [if gte vml 1]&gt;--><!-- [if !vml]--> en dus een gigantische kans van 10:1 om het toernooi op haar naam te schrijven. Toen kwam de river met een <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-origin.pokerstrategy.com\/oldresources\/de\/PICS\/news\/Deck\/As.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"24\" height=\"13\"><!-- [if gte vml 1]&gt;--><!-- [if !vml]--> en was de sensatie een feit: Van Nguyen is de eerste vrouwelijk winnaar van een WPT titel in een gemengd toernooi ooit! Haar K4 houden stand tegen de QJs en ze wint met AA met K als kicker.<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">Ze verdiende met haar overwinning ook nog eens $100.000 en een $25.500 ticket voor het WPT World Championship in het Bellagio, komende maand april.
