\nDe eerste
\nwedstrijd van vandaag (6de<\/sup> speeldag van het EK) ging tussen Kroatië
\nen altijd titelfavoriet Duitsland. Veel deelnemers tipten Duitsland als winnaar
\naan van de wedstrijd. Toch wel enigszins terecht. Klose, Olic en petric waren
\nterug te vinden in de topschutterslijsten. Er mocht wel opgemerkt worden dat
\nenige belg (Frank debleeckere) scheidsrechter aan de bak moest komen in deze
\nwedstrijd. De wedstrijd zelf dan. Duitsland moest aan de bak tegen een stug
\nKroatië. Een kroatie die je niet zo makkelijk voorbij zet, dit bleek dan ook in
\nde wedstrijd. De kroaten kwamen 1-0 en zelfs 2-0 voor. 10 minuten voor tijd kon
\nDuitsland tegenscoren met de onvermijdelijke podolski. Maar de goal mocht niet
\nbaten en Duitsland verloor de kroaten 2-1. In<\/metricconverter> de slotminuten werd ook de eerste rode
\nkaart genoteerd van dit EK.

\nDe tweede
\nwedstrijd dan ging tussen gastland Oostenrijk en polen. Een match alles of
\nniets voor beide landen. Wie wint maakt nog een kans om de kwartfinales te
\nbereiken wie verliest ligt er zonder pardon uit. De meesten onder de deelnemers
\ntipten Polen als winnaar met een meest voorkomende uitslag van 0-1. In<\/metricconverter> de wedstrijd zelf waren
\nhet de Oostenrijkers die het meeste initiatief namen en de polen moesten het
\nspel ondergaan. Maar het waren niet de Oostenrijkers die op voorsprong kwamen,
\nwel de polen. Welliswaar een doelpunt uit buitenspel. In de tweede helft zagen
\nwe hetzelfde spelbeeld. In de laatste minuten kregen de Oostenrijkers een
\nlichte strafschop en konden 1-1 maken. Zo bestaat er voor beide ploegen nog een
\nwaterkansje om de kwartfinale te bereiken.

\nspeeldag werd opvallen laag gescoord, het was riddersven die de winnaar van de
\ndag was, hij voorspelde de 2 uitslagen perfect juist.
