\nOpnieuw hoger deelnemersaantal.<\/b>\n<\/p>

Het No Limit Hold'em Event kreeg opnieuw meer deelnemers. 2.718 Spelers betaalden de buy-in van $1.500.
\nZe vulden de prijzenpot met $3.710.070, die was bestemd voor de beste 270 deelnemers. Tran verdiende met zijn overwinning $631.170.<\/p>

\nNielsen bijna doorlopend chipleader<\/b>\n<\/p>

De runner-up, Rasmus Nielsen, begon als chipleader aan de finaletafel en hield dat bijna de hele weg vol. Hij wist zijn voorsprong op de andere spelers gestaag uit te bouwen en allen J.C. Tran wist hem enigzins partij te bieden.<\/p>

\nHeads-up<\/b>\n<\/p>

Nadat Nielsen de Ier Conroy op plaats 3 had uitgeschakeld, begon hij met een bijna 3:1 chiplead aan zijn gevecht met Tran. De twee kemphanen vochten bijna twee uur en speelden daarbij 70 handen. Tran veroverde in deze tijd echter langzamerhand de chiplead en nam een voorsprong.<\/p>

\nDe laatste hand<\/b>\n<\/p>

In de laatste hand van het toernooi raiste Tran preflop en Nielsen callde. De flop gaf , en Nielsen checkte. Tran bette en Nielsen callde. De turn gaf de , waarop Nielsen opnieuw checkte. Tran bette opnieuw, maar ditmaal checkraiste Nielsen all-in. Tran callde en liet zien voor een top-pair. Nielsen had en moest dus wel een boer hitten. Tran wa3 93% favoriet. De op de river veranderde niets meer en Tran had, na 21 WSOP-cashes (waarvan alleen dit jaar al vijf), eindelijk zijn eerste bracelet binnen.<\/p>

Ton Kleijnen<\/b> haalde de 78e plaats en won daarmee $6.307. Guido de Bruin<\/b> wist ook ITM te komen. Hij werd 217e en won $2.968.<\/p>
