\nBracelet evenals een Beau Rivage Bracelet. Allen Carter kon met zijn prestaties aan de finale tafel meer dan tevreden zijn. Hij startte de finale tafel als tweede in de chipcount en leverde een solide prestatie af. In de laatste hand had hij echter het nodige geluk, waardoor hij de WPT-titel won.<\/p>

Soheil Shamseddin, die met een immense chiplead aan de finale tafel begon, moest zijn droom van een WPT-titel al voor de heads-up opgeven. Hij verliet de tafel op plek drie. In de beslissende hand maakte hij op het verkeerde moment een move. <\/p>

Bij blinds van 40.000 - 80.000 raisede hij van de button naar 300.000. Allen Carter, die in Bid Blind zat, maakte de call. Beide spelers checken de flop . De pairde het board en Carter checkt wederom, waarop Shamseddin een bet van 400.000 maakt die door Carter gecalled wordt. De river bracht de en nadat Carter opnieuw checkte, ging Shamseddin All-in. Carter bedenkt zich geen moment en maakt de call met voor trips. Shamseddin wilde zijn kaarten al weggooien, maar hij moest ze opendraaien en liet voor boer hoog zien. De $263.725 voor plek drie, zullen hem enige troost geven.<\/p>

\nCarter wint<\/b>\n<\/p>

In de heads-up stonden Allen Carter en Bobby Suer tegenover elkaar. Suer
\nbegon de heads-up met een stack van 3.410.000 Chips, terwijl Carter 5.085.000 chips voor zijn neus had. Carter wist al snel enkele potten in zijn voordeel te beslissen waarmee hij zijn chiplead uitbouwde tot 7:1. Het leek een kwestie van tijd voordat de heads-up beslist was.<\/p>

Suer wist echter nog twee keer te dubbelen en stond zo weer terug op 2 miljoen chips, als hij nog 1 keer wist te dubbelen zou de stand weer helemaal gelijk zijn. Dit leek ook te gebeuren toen Suer vond en zijn All-in gecalled zag worden door de van Carter. Het board en de dealer hadden echter andere plannen en na een bijna ideale flop van verscheen op de turn de beslissende . Carter maakte zijn straight en Suer had hulp nodig. De river bezegelde zijn lot en bezorgde Allen Carter de titel van de WPT 'Southern Poker Championships'.<\/p>
