Omdat de laatste grote namen op dag 4 het veld moesten verlaten waren de spelers aan de finale tafel niet de bekendste namen.<\/p><p>Aan het begin van de dag had de grootste stack aan tafel, Stewart Scott, 4,520,000 chips terwijl de Barny Boatman het als shortstack moest doen met slechts 349,000 chips.<\/p><p>Het spel aan de finale tafel begon traag, omdat geen van de spelers zijn kans op de roem en het prijzengeld van AUD 2 miljoen op het spel wilde zetten. De shortstack wist nog te dubbelen waarmee hij op 800.000 chips kwam, maar moest uiteindelijk toch als eerste naar de rail, waar hij de AUD 100.000 voor zijn achtste plaats in ontvangst mocht nemen. Nadat Ashby op de 7de plaats werd uitgeschakeld verlieten de spelers de tafel voor een korte lunch pauze.<\/p><p>Na de uitschakeling van Elliot Smtih op plek 3, begon de heads-up tussen Stewart Scott<br>\nen&nbsp; Peter Rho. Er was echter niet echt sprake van een groots gevecht, want al na 13 handen was het feit beslecht toen Rho uitgeschakeld werd door de pocket rockets van Stewart Scott.<\/p><p>Scott werd daarmee die eerste Australi&euml;r die het main event van de Aussie Millions op zijn naam weet te schrijven. Rho's pijn werd verzacht door het AUD 1,000,000 prijzengeld voor plek 2.
