Het kan ook zijn dat je vanuit de big blind een gratis flop ziet. Nu komen de eerste drie gemeenschapskaarten (de flop) en moet je jezelf eerst de vraag stellen: Heb ik iets gehit?\n<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\">\nHet komt er eigenlijk op neer dat je een onderscheid maakt tussen drie verschillende soorten handen. Het kan zijn dat je een goede hand hebt, eentje die zich nog kan ontpoppen tot een goede hand, of eentje die niks waard is. Deze drie verschillende soorten handen worden respectievelijk made hands, drawing hands en trash hands genoemd.\n<\/p><ul class=\"emoList1\">\n<li><b>Made Hands<\/b>\n<p class=\"emoListbody\">\n\tDit soort handen zijn handen waarmee je nu al zou kunnen winnen. Voorbeelden hiervan zijn pairs of three of a kind. Ze hoeven niet per se te verbeteren en soms kan dit zelfs helemaal niet.\n\t<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t<b>Drawing Hands<\/b>\n<p class=\"emoListbody\">\n\tDit soort handen moeten zich eerst verbeteren voordat ze een goede hand worden. Een voorbeeld hiervan is bijvoorbeeld wanneer je twee schoppen kaarten hebt. Je hit de flop niet, maar de flop brengt wel nog twee schoppen. Nu heb je dus nog maar &eacute;&eacute;n schoppen nodig op de turn of river om een flush te maken. Dit wordt een flushdraw genoemd en je hebt hier dus een drawing hand.\n\t<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t<b>Trash Hands<\/b>\n<p class=\"emoListbody\">\n\tWaardeloze handen, oftewel trash hands, zijn handen die noch made hands zullen worden noch weinig vooruitzicht hebben om zich te verbeteren. Op de showdown zul je zelden de beste hand hebben. Vaak kun je met dit soort handen alleen maar bluffen.\n\t<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><h1>2. Deze handen worden ook wel <b>monsters <\/b>genoemd omdat ze erg sterk zijn. Met dit soort handen heb je meestal de nuts (de best mogelijke hand) en zul je vaak veel geld winnen als je ze goed speelt.\n<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\">\nNaast monsters zijn er ook nog pairs en slechtere handen. Daarvan zijn maar twee soorten goed genoeg, welke we hier in meer detail zullen bespreken. Het gaat om twee speciale pairs; de top pair en de overpair.\n<\/p><div class=\"emoSubhead\">\nTOP PAIR\n<\/div><p class=\"emoNormal\">\nAls je een pair hebt die bestaat uit &eacute;&eacute;n van de kaarten uit je hand en de hoogste gemeenschapskaart, dan wordt dit een top pair genoemd.\n<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\">\nHet kan natuurlijk gebeuren dat je op de flop top pair hebt, maar dat de turn of river een betere kaart brengt. Stel dat je bijvoorbeeld een top pair boeren hebt en dat de turn een heer brengt. Daardoor is je pair boeren natuurlijk niet meer de top pair omdat een pair heren nu de top pair is. Of om het op een andere manier uit te leggen: Als &eacute;&eacute;n van de twee paren op het board ligt, dan mag je die niet tellen. Wanneer je in deze positie zit, is het over het algemeen beter om je hand te folden, of je dat nu wilt of niet.
