Dla danej ilości outów występuje unikalne prawdopodobieństwo, że pojawią się one na stole. To prawdopodobieństwo w pokerze określa się mianem odds<\/a>. Występują też odds<\/a> against - czyli prawdopodobieńśtwo, że karty te nie pojawią się na stole.   <\/span><\/p>

Oddsy przeciwko = porażki : sukcesy<\/i><\/p>

Dla kolejnej karty oznacza to:

<\/span>Oddsy przeciwko = niepomocne karty : pomocne karty <\/i><\/p>

albo<\/p>

Oddsy przeciwko = (nieznane karty - outy<\/a>) : outy<\/a><\/i><\/p>

Przykład (Texas Hold'em<\/a>):<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gracz<\/span><\/td>\nFlop<\/a><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/span><\/td>\n<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>

Gracz ma drawa do koloru. W talii pozostaje jest dziewięć kierów, więc gracz ma 9 outów. Ukazało się już pięć kart, więc wiadomo, że identyczne już się nie pojawią. Skoro w talii są 52 karty, to 52-5=47, czyli tyle kart może pojawić się na turnie. Oczywiście 47-9=38 kart jest bezwartościowych. Oddsy przeciwko trafieniu karty w kierach wynoszą: <\/p>

Oddsy przeciwko = 38:9 = 4.2:1
<\/i>
Inaczej mówiąc - kolor na turnie dojdzie tylko w 19% przypadków, a na turnie lub riverze w 35%, więc oddsy wynoszą 1.9:1.<\/p>
