W grach, w których kolejność akcji determinuje pozycja dealera, middle positions znajdują się w środkowej części stołu. W przypadku stołów 10 osobowych w Texas Hold'em<\/a>, szósta, siódma i ósma pozycja są środkowymi i określane są odpowiednio jako MP, MP2, MP3. <\/p>

Gracze, którzy znajdują się na tych pozycjach są w niekorzystnej sytuacji względem  przeciwników mających głos po nich, ale maja przewagę pozycyjną nad przeciwnikami,  którzy zajmują wcześniejsze pozycje.
