\nThe Queen's Gambit<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Chyba jako jeden z ostatnich zbliżam się do końca Gambitu Królowej<\/em> i tak jak każdemu innemu pokerzyście bardzo mi się on podoba. To sam w sobie jest świetny serial, ale ludzie związani z pokerem reagują na niego jeszcze bardziej entuzjastycznie, nie tylko ze względu na fakt, że te dwie gry mają wiele wspólnego, ale także przez to, że może to być wzór podobnego serialu, tyle że opartego o grę w karty. <\/p>\n
Jeśli nie widzieliście jeszcze serialu, to postaram się uniknąć spoilerów, ale ogółem opowiada on o młodej dziewczynie, która ma ogromny talent do szachów. Śledzimy jej perypetie on nauki gry, przez branie udziału w lokalnych turniejach, aż do wchodzenia na sam szczyt. <\/p>\n
Na początku chciałbym zaznaczyć, że bardzo podobały mi się pierwsze odcinki, kiedy Beth wchodzi w świat szachowych turniejów, głównie przez to, że dopadła mnie nostalgia, bo przypomniałem sobie, jak ja pierwszy raz grywałem w pokera live<\/strong>. Naprawdę świetnie oddano w nich to, jak to jest być świeżakiem i odkrywać nieznany dotąd świat, którego chcemy szybko stać się częścią. <\/p>\n
Pokerzyści zastanawiają się teraz, czy Netflix mógłby nakręcić mainstreamowy serial oparty na pokerze? Krótka odpowiedź brzmi tak, chociaż oczywiście jest też jakieś ale<\/em>. <\/p>\n
Nie przesadzić ze strategią<\/h2>\nRounders opowiadało bardziej o subkulturze niż o samej grze<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Poważni pokerzyści chcieliby ukazania gry z naciskiem na jej złożoność i finezję. Nie chcemy oglądać idiotycznych rozdań, jak straight flush w Casino Royale<\/em>, prawdziwym wyznacznikiem jakości serialowego bohatera, byłoby dla nas dobre value betowanie drugiej pary. Mainstreamowej publiczności nie obchodzą jednak takie rzeczy. <\/p>\n
Nic nie wiem o szachach, a po obejrzeniu Gambitu Królowej wciąż będę o nich wiedział bardzo mało. Serial tak naprawdę w bardzo niewielkim stopniu skupiał się na pojedynczych ruchach czy partiach, ale udało mu się uchwycić towarzyszące im emocje w taki sposób, by nawet początkujący w królewskiej grze widz mógł wszystko zrozumieć. Chodziło o pokazanie subkultury szachów<\/strong> i tego, co dzieje się pomiędzy partiami. Ta sama zasada miałaby zastosowanie w serialu o pokerze. <\/p>\n
Rounders<\/em> to świetny film, ale nie ma tam jakoś przesadnie dużo skomplikowanych analiz, chodzi bardziej o prywatne gry, podziemne kluby i podróże do Atlantic City. Osoby nie grające w pokera ufają scenarzystom, że rozdanie idzie w konkretnym kierunku, nie za bardzo zdają sobie sprawę, co tak naprawdę samo w sobie oznacza wypadnięcie waleta na turnie. <\/p>\n
Poker już napisał kilka historii<\/h2>\nHistoria Annette_15 napisała się sama<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Mainstreamowa publiczność nie lubi być zdezorientowana,<\/strong> więc istotę pokera trzeba ograniczyć do niezbędnego minimum. Serial musiałby skupiać się na okołopokerowych historiach, a takich mamy przecież setki.<\/p>\n
Całe życie Doyle'a Brunsona, podróżującego hazardzisty, świetnie nadałoby się na scenariusz takiej produkcji, gdybyśmy chcieli jeden do jeden oddać realia Gambitu Królowej. Zawsze uważałem też, że zbrodnią ze strony branży jest niewykorzystanie historii Annette Obrestad, dziewczyny, która była zbyt młoda na grę, zbudowała bankroll we freerollach, a następnie wygrała Main Event WSOPE.<\/p>\n
Poker zdecydowanie mógłby mieć swój Gambit Królowej, ale jeśli takowy serial kiedykolwiek miałby powstać, musimy odpuścić trochę oczekiwania co do samego zawartego w nim pokera.<\/p>\n
