Co roku Barry Carter stara się przewidzieć, co stanie się w pokerze w ciągu nadchodzących dwunastu miesięcy. Tak wyglądały jego predykcje w ubiegłym roku<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Wzrost znaczenia WPT Global<\/h2>\n

Dwie dekady zajęło World Poker Tour uruchomienie konkurencyjnego poker roomu online. Nie jest to na razie absolutnie produkt skończony, ale uważam, że w 2023 roku WPT Global wejdzie na światowy poziom. <\/p>\n

W World Poker Tour po prostu bardzo dużo się obecnie inwestuje. Byliśmy już świadkami rekordowego fieldu w przełomowym evencie World Championship. Ich room online zaczął oferować bardzo atrakcyjne promocje, a za kulisami mówi się też o tym, że zatrudniono tam bardzo wiele utalentowanych osób. <\/p>\n

W momencie pisania tego artykułu klasyfikowani są na 20. miejscu rankingu PokerScout. Uważam, że za rok spokojnie będą w pierwszej dziesiątce, może nawet w top 5. <\/p>\n

Mystery Bounty przyhamuje<\/h2>\n

Jedną z moich predykcji w ubiegłym roku było to, że format Mystery Bounty stanie się bardzo ważną częścią pokera. Trafiłem w punkt. Każdy tour organizował swój turniej w tym formacie, 888 i GG znalazły dla niego miejsce w swoich harmonogramach online. Największe przyznane nagrody były siedmiocyfrowe. <\/p>\n

Pod koniec roku nachodzi mnie przeczucie, że to wszystko zaczyna się przejadać. To tylko przeczucie, które nie ma żadnych merytorycznych podstaw, ale uważam, że ten wykładniczy wzrost zostanie zahamowany w 2023 rou. <\/p>\n

Poza jednym wielkim eventem na World Series of Poker, można zauważyć, że nie pojawiają się w harmonogramach festiwali live. Fakt, że oferuje je tylko dwóch operatorów online, każe mi sądzić, że formatowi zaczyna trochę brakować pary. Nie spodziewam się, by wielu operatorów zdecydowało się na nie w 2023 roku. <\/p>\n

Największy Main Event<\/h2>\n

Przewidywałem to w ubiegłym roku i się pomyliłem, ale o bardzo niewiele.<\/p>\n

Musieliśmy zadowolić się drugim pod względem wielkości Main Eventem<\/a> z 8663 uczestnikami, więc do pobicia 8772 z 2006 roku zabrakło bardzo niewiele.<\/p>\n

Fakt, że byliśmy świadkami rekordów w WPT World Championship (2960) i EPT Praga (1267) jednocześnie,<\/strong> napełnił mnie pewnością, że poker live kwitnie. <\/p>\n

Znowu będzie blisko, ale uważam, że w 2023 roku uda się osiągnąć 8800+ uczestników w Main Evencie. <\/p>\n

Streamowanie na YouTube przebije Twitcha<\/h2>\n

Kanał YouTube Lex'a<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Pod koniec ubiegłego roku Lex Veldhuis zrezygnował ze statusu partnera Twitcha, aby móc skupić się na YouTube. Powiedział przy tym kilka cierpkich słów o tym, że Twitch przestał przejmować się pokerem i że z tego powodu zmienia platformę.<\/p>\n

Celem tego po części było skupienie się na tworzeniu treści nie-streamowanych, aczkolwiek transmisji live także nie brakuje. Niedawno spędziłem trochę czasu, ucząc się, jak działają algorytmy YouTube i zgadzam się z tym, co mówi Lex, że jest tam o wiele więcej możliwości.<\/p>\n

Wygląda na to, że poker został zignorowany po (nie mających nic wspólnego z pokerem) skandalach związanych z hazardem online na Twitchu i myślę, że będziemy świadkami masowego exodusu pokerowych streamerów z Twitcha na YouTube. Wielu będzie streamować na obu platformach jednocześnie, ale przewiduję, że za rok znacznie więcej streamerów pokerowych znajdziemy na YouTube.<\/p>\n

Różnica między GG i Starsami pogłębi się<\/h2>\n

Co może zrobić PokerStars, by wrócić na szczyt?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Źle czuję się z tym, że muszę zakończyć negatywną predykcją na temat marki, z którą mam tak dobre wspomnienia, ale uważam, że w 2023 roku GGPoker będzie powiększać swoją przewagę nad PokerStars. <\/p>\n

W 2021 roku przeżyliśmy prawdziwy szok, kiedy GGPoker prześcignęło PokerStars pod względem trafficu w cashówkach. To był jasny sygnał dla Starsów, które postanowiły w związku z tym naprawić swój program lojalnościowy i przywrócić zapomniane cykle live. Jestem pewien, że i tak mieli to w planach, ale dawało to uczucie powrotu do starych dobrych czasów, kiedy to PokerStars królowało niepodzielnie na rynku.<\/p>\n

To nie wystarczy w 2023 roku. GGPoker wprowadza innowacje w tempie, jakiego nie widzieliśmy do tej pory w pokerze, a PokerStars będzie musiało zrobić coś wyjątkowego, by nie zostać z tyłu. Rozpoczynają rok od PSPC, co jest chyba najlepszym możliwym początkiem.<\/p>\n

Są niesamowitą stroną z fantastycznym oprogramowaniem i pracują tam naprawdę inteligentni ludzie. Jeśli nie chcą jednak, by GGPoker im uciekło, w 2023 roku będą musieli pokombinować \"out of the box\". <\/p>\n
