Czy w tym roku więcej graczy zdecyduje się wziąć udział?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

W ubiegłym roku World Series of Poker Main Event pobił swój wieloletni rekord frekwencji<\/a>, przyciągając 10 043 graczy. <\/p>\n

Poker live cały czas przeżywa boom, więc pytanie brzmi, czy w tym roku uda się pójść za ciosem? <\/p>\n

Duża różnica polega na tym, że wokół pobicia rekordu w 2023 roku było bardzo dużo szumu medialnego<\/strong>, któremu towarzyszyły nawet specjalne promocje, dedykowane rekordowi. W tym roku w ogóle nie mówi się o tym, czy frekwencja może wejść na jeszcze wyższy poziom.<\/p>\n

Postanowiłem pobawić się w zgadywanie na podstawie dotychczasowych rozmiarów fieldów. Poniżej znajdują się liczby uczestników dla wszystkich turniejów No-limit z wpisowym co najmniej 1500 $ lub tych z „Bucket List”, jak Gladiator czy Seniors. Są to eventy, które odbyły się zarówno w 2023 roku, jak i na tegorocznym WSOP. Pominąłem turnieje High Roller, ponieważ jest to szacowanie liczby graczy głównie rekreacyjnych.<\/p>\n

Jak widać, na razie układa się to różnie. Więcej turniejów odnotowało wzrost niż spadek, a jednocześnie dobrym znakiem jest to, że Millionaire Maker, który jest prawdopodobnie „drugim main eventem” dla amatorów, odnotował znaczny wzrost frekwencji. Spadek liczby uczestników w Seniors Championship to z kolei kiepska wiadomość<\/strong>, ponieważ większość amatorów to dziś osoby w średnim wieku, a grupa demograficzna Main Eventu z roku na rok jest coraz starsza.<\/p>\n

Niestety, po tym, jak przez większość roku uważałem, że rekord może zostać pobity<\/a>, teraz skłaniam się w drugą stronę. W 2024 roku nie ma takiego szumu wokół rekordu, jak 12 miesięcy temu, kiedy to frekwencję udało się wyśrubować, budując w społeczności odpowiednią otoczkę wokół tego wydarzenia.<\/p>\n

Cały czas zapowiada się jednak bardzo wysoki wynik i założę się, że będzie to co najmniej drugi co do wielkości Main Event wszechczasów.<\/p>\n
