Jedną z fantastycznych rzeczy, jaką zauważyłem po latach styczności z pokerem, jest to, że dzięki niemu można nauczyć się wiele z innych dziedzin, takich jak AI, ekonomika, teoria gier czy psychologia. Stworzyłem więc serię artykułów o zagadnieniach spoza pokera, które można skutecznie adaptować w naszej ulubionej grze.<\/i><\/p>\n

Eliminując portiera, hotel może zaoszczędzić pieniądze, ale straci znaczące korzyści niematerialne, co może skutkować pogorszeniem ogólnego odbioru przez gości.<\/p>\n

Myślę, że to krótkowzroczność. Amatorzy, których tak bardzo potrzebujemy, nie dbają o maksymalizację stawki godzinowej, tylko chcą, aby ich czas wolny od pracy był zabawą. Więcej eventów powinno naśladować model Lex Live<\/a>, gdzie poker jest tylko jedną z oferowanych aktywności. <\/p>\n

Uważam również, że najnowszy trend satelit Milestone jest doskonałym przykładem błędu portiera, pokazującym, że operatorzy nie rozumieją sedna sprawy. Podoba mi się fakt, że te turnieje są (zazwyczaj) szybsze i pozwalają niektórym graczom bardzo sprawnie zakwalifikować się do turnieju docelowego, jednak według mnie brakuje im tego, co oferują zwykłe satelity, czyli prostą strategię, dzięki której nawet tragiczni gracze mogą przetrwać i wygrać upragnione miejsce. Chcemy, aby w dużych wydarzeniach uczestniczyli słabi gracze i nowicjusze, a jeśli oznacza to pójście w stronę powolnej, narażonej na przedłużanie struktury tradycyjnej satelity, to jest to cena, którą warto zapłacić.<\/p>\n

Jak sugeruje Sutherland, w dążeniu do efektywności zawsze istnieją dodatkowe wskaźniki, których nie należy ignorować.<\/p>\n
