\nW niedzielę 48 graczy stanęło na starcie pierwszej rundy turnieju PartyPoker<\/a> World Open V. W finale było miejsce tylko dla siedmiu osób. Na zwycięzcę turnieju czekała nagroda główna w kwocie 250 000 $.<\/p>

Na zakończenie finału wszystkie żetony zgromadził Phil 'The Unabomber' Laak, który po drodze do zwycięstwa odradzał się niczym Feniks z popiołów. W pewnym momencie Phil Laak miał przed sobą jedynie równowartość 1,5 big blinda, ale później nastąpiła niesamowita seria zwycięskich rozdań, która dała mu mistrzowski tytuł. W heads-upie rywalem Laaka był kwalifikant Jan Veit.<\/p>

\"PhilVeit, który chwilę wcześniej wyeliminował Luke Schwartza łapiąc runner-runner flusha,
\nna starcie pojedynku miał nieznaczną przewagę stacka. Jego 1 190 000 w żetonach wyglądało solidnie, ale Phil Laak niewiele mu ustępował, mając w tym czasie przed sobą 910 000 w żetonach. Już po pierwszym rozdaniu pojedynku układ sił uległ zmianie.<\/p>

Obydwaj gracze mieli w swoim ręku asa i zdecydowali się grać za wszystko przed obejrzeniem flopa. Laak był jednak w znacznie lepszej sytuacji, bowiem jego A-8
\nbyło znacznie lepsze od A-4, które pokazał Veit. Po tej porażce Jan Veit pozostał w grze z równowartością około pięciu big blindów i już w następnym rozdaniu zagrał all-in przed flopem z J-7. Phil Laak zobaczył u siebie Q-T i sprawdził, zaś po flopie obronił swoją przewagę i wygrał turniej.<\/p>

\"Bodo\"PartyPoker
\npro Bodo Sbrzesny musiał zadowolić się czwartym miejscem, ale pozostawił po sobie znakomite wrażenie. Jego nieszablonowa gra na pewno mogła się podobać.<\/p>

W najważniejszym dla siebie momencie Sbrzesny wyeliminował Jennifer Tilly w rozdaniu, w którym jego para 9-9 wystarczyła do wygrania coin-flipa. Niestety Sbrzesny niezbyt długo cieszył się z powiększenia swojego stacka, bowiem już po chwili wszystkie żetony odebrał mu Luke Schwartz.<\/p>

Szóste miejsce zajął ambasador PartyPoker, człowiek niedawno wybrany do Poker Hall of Fame, Mike Sexton. Na siódmym miejscu również można odnaleźć bardzo znanego pokerzystę, którym bez wątpienia jest Andy Black.<\/p>
