Normalmente, este termo serve simplesmente para descrever o facto de uma mão<\/a> ter um determinado valor<\/a> no showdown<\/a> e com a qual podes ganhar um número suficientemente rentável de showdowns no longo prazo.<\/p>

Contudo, o termo costuma ser utilizado em situações nas quais já não podes apostar<\/a> para valor<\/a>, uma vez que não existe praticamente qualquer mão<\/a> inferior que pague uma aposta. No entanto, a tua mão<\/a> continua a ser suficientemente boa para ver o showdown<\/a> baratinho, onde será muitas vezes a melhor mão<\/a>.<\/p>

Aqui fica um exemplo rápido para ilustrar este princípio:<\/p>

Fizeste raise de abertura com um suited connector a partir do botão<\/a> e uma das blinds faz call<\/a> ao teu raise. No flop<\/a> surgem duas overcards<\/a>, não tens qualquer par<\/a>, nem sequer acertaste num flush<\/a> ou straight draw<\/a>. <\/p>

O adversário faz check<\/a> no flop<\/a>, enquanto que tu como agressor<\/a> no pré-flop<\/a> fazes uma continuation bet<\/a> com a única intenção de obrigar o adversário a desistir - a tua mão<\/a> não tem qualquer valor<\/a>, com excepção do fold equity<\/a> que podes criar.<\/p>

Contudo, o teu adversário faz call<\/a> e acertas num pequeno par<\/a> no turn<\/a>. O adversário faz novamente check<\/a>. Apesar de agora teres um par<\/a>, não podes apostar<\/a> para valor<\/a>, uma vez que é muito pouco provável que o teu adversário faça call<\/a> com uma mão<\/a> inferior. É possível que agora o teu adversário também tenha um draw<\/a> e caso este não fique completo no river<\/a>, ele pode mais uma vez fazer check<\/a>. Como tal, o teu par<\/a> tem valor de showdown<\/a> e tu fazes check<\/a> com a intenção de chegar ao showdown<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
