\nDuane 'Dewey' Tomko<\/b>\n<\/p>

\n \n<\/p>

\n\"DeweyDuane Tomko está entre os rostos mais conhecidos em Las Vegas. Desde 1979, ele já conseguiu incríveis 44 ITM nas WSOP, além de vencer por três vezes, dando-lhe 3 braceletes. O primeiro em 1979, em um NL Hold´em de $1,000. O segundo e terceiro braceletes vieram no ano de 1984, quando venceu o $5,000 PL Omaha e o $10,000 Deuce to Seven Draw Championship.\n<\/p>

\n \n<\/p>

\nTomko ainda participou de 35 Main Events das WSOP, até agora. Por duas vezes foi o runner-up. Em 1982, ficou atrás de Jack Straus que fez uma excelente volta ao jogo, quando tinha apenas 1 ficha, e venceu o torneio. Em 2001, a história se repetiu e ele sucumbiu diante de Carlos Mortensen, ao tentar um slow play com pocket aces.\n<\/p>

\nHenry Orenstein<\/b>\n<\/p>

\n \n<\/p>

\n\"HenryO reconhecimento ao nome de Henry Orenstein, é semelhante ao de Tomko. O inventor das câmeras de mesa e produtor de um famoso programa de TV, o High Stakes Poker, tornou o poker um desporto ascessível as audiências em massa com suas idéias revolucionárias, e foi decisivo para a aceitação da mídia.\n<\/p>

\n \n<\/p>

\nEspecialmente as câmeras de mesa, fizeram do poker interessante para a TV e deu a partida para o actual boom. Seu segundo maior projecto, High Stakes Poker, trouxe o cash game, pela primeira vez as telas, e mostrou que não apenas os torneios são interessantes para os telespectadores.\n<\/p>

\n \n<\/p>

\nEm 1996, Orenstein venceu o $5,000 Seven Card Stud Event e conquistou seu primeiro, e único, bracelete das WSOP.\n<\/p>

\nO Hall da Fama<\/b>\n<\/p>

\n \n<\/p>

\nO Hall da Fama do Poker foi estabelecido em 1979 pelo Binion´s Horseshoe Casino e homenageava os grandes jogadores de poker de todos os tempos. Ano passado, Phill Helmuth e , a primeira mulher de todos os tempos, Barbara Enright foram incluídos.\n<\/p>

\n \n<\/p>

\nEntre os homenageados, estão presentes no Hall da Fama, nomes como Johnny Moss, Jack Straus, Benny e Jack Binion, o grandioso Stu Ungar, Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan e muitos nomes proeminentes do mundo do poker.\n<\/p>
