No Dia 1B, Lance Climo terminou no topo da tabela, com 134,400 fichas. Climo, que habita perto de Auckland, ganhou uma entrada através dos qualifiers apenas dois dias antes do início do evento. Ele encontra-se actualmente na segunda posição atrás de Tahtouh na classificação geral.<\/p>

A mão mais memorável do torneio até ao momento teve o cunho de Tony Hachem. No sexto nível de blinds, Hachem recebeu e o flop trouxe completando-lhe o nut flush. Um no turn poderia dar algumas possibilidades ao seu oponente, mas uma no river completou-lhe o nuts absoluto.<\/p>
