\n1 deste evento com uma estrutura única - o World Poker Tour Festa Al Lago - começou com 244 jogadores. O número de participantes deve crescer ainda mais, pois muitos jogadores optaram por não não jogar o primeiro dia. Mike \"The Mouth<\/i>\" Matusow (foto) é o actual chip leader com 224,200 fichas.<\/p>

Neste evento super deep-stack, os jogadores recebem 60,000 fichas iniciais, o que é equivalente a 600 big blinds no nível 1. O registo está aberto até ao nível 8 e apenas 5 níveis foram jogados durante o Dia 1. Os que optaram por começar apenas no Dia 2, vão ter à disposição 75
\nbig blinds. Phil Hellmuth, Andy Bloch e Howard Lederer estão entre os jogadores que se vão juntar apenas no segundo dia.<\/p>

Uma constelação de estrelas presente no Bellagio<\/h2>

Foram muitas as estrelas que marcaram presença no Bellagio para o Dia 1. Entre os mais notáveis jogadores encontravam-se Phil Ivey,
\nMike Matusow, Erik Seidel, Chino Rheem, Phil Laak, Allen Cunningham,
\nMark Seif e o antigo Jogador do Ano do WPT

\nLaak, Seif e Little terminaram o dia no top 10, mas as super-estrelas Daniel Negreanu e David Benyamine (foto) não estarão entre os 196 jogadores que regressarão para o Dia 2. Antonio Esfandiari, Dave Ulliot e Joe Sebok também foram eliminados.<\/p>

Benyamine foi o primeiro jogador a ser eliminado, depois de tentar um
\nbluff com apenas ás alto contra um oponente que tinha acertado dois pares.
\nNegreanu foi mais infeliz, pois entrou all-in pré-flop com J-J<\/b>. O seu oponente tinha 6-6<\/b> e acertou um 6<\/b> no flop, traçando o destino de Negreanu no evento.<\/p>
