\"WPTDepois de apenas 5 níveis de blinds, o WPT Foxwoods World Poker Finals viu mais de 40% dos participantes abandonarem a prova e o Dia 1 terminou com apenas 206 sobreviventes. Todd Terry está na liderança com 165,700 fichas, mas é seguido de perto por Danny Shiff e Adam
\nLippert, ambos com 159,000 fichas.<\/p>

Um grande contigente de profissionais esteve presente neste evento, que jonathanlittle venceu em 2008, recebendo $1.12
\nmilhões. O segundo classificado do ano passado, Jonathan Jaffe está na décima primeira posição, enquanto Gavin Smith, Isaac Baron, Prahlad Friedman, Billy
\nKopp e Adam Levy continuam também na luta pelo título.<\/p>

Michael Mizrachi dominante no Dia 1
\n<\/h2>

\"MichaelMichael \"The Grinder<\/i>\"
\nMizrachi foi um dos jogadores mais dominantes do dia, alcançando uma destacada liderança logo no terceiro nível de blinds. Na mão que lançou Mizrachi para a frente do torneio, ele segurava A-A<\/b> contra Adam Gerber que tinha K-K<\/b>. Sem surpresa na board, ele subiu para as 162,000 fichas. <\/p>

Mizrachi aguentou a liderança durante grande parte do dia, apenas para a entregar na última hora de jogo. Contudo, ele ainda está bem posicionado na tabela e terminou o Dia 1 com 125,900 fichas,
\nbem acima da média que está nas 51,407 fichas.<\/p>

Com os registos encerrados, o evento vai distribuir mais de 3.3 milhões em prémios. O número de participantes foi um pouco menor do que no ano passado, mas o vencedor desta edição vai ganhar um prémio muito respeitável de $910,058. A estrutura de pagamentos contempla 36
\njogadores, que terão direito a um prémio mínimo de $21,588.<\/p>
