    Hi Guys.

Having looked at it I think my analysis abd equity cakculatiob on the A2 hand is incomplete. I probably am still ok to peel but the equity calc should have had more data on the other 2 players

Just thought I would drop that in. Hope you enjoy. :-)

    Hi Boomer,

    as always, great stuff!

    1question about preflop play:
UTG OR, SB 3bet and we are in BB ; *which hands do we call, which hands do we cap?

*what if we have seen UTG folding earlier in this situation?will this affect our capping range?

Can you tell us what your next vid /seres will be?

    looking forward to more boomerstuff,
    tx

Hi MrT and thanks for your comments

Actually that's a pretty huge topic to cover as it depends a lot on opponent and what we've seen before.

I intend to go into this in a Logic Knot: Intro to Balance Episode before the end of the year in a bit more details but for now I'll say the follow:

As a default in that particular configuration (UTG OR, SB 3-B, Us in BB) I don't 4-bet anything. I will, of course, change this if I see something that makes me shift from this point but generally I assume that the UTG player is not folding anything to a pre-flop cap and that both players I'm up against are very strong so I can't split my range without it being either incredibly readable or spew.

So in order to hide my range I will call 2 (3) cold there with my entire range I want to play. This has the additional benefit that on favourable flops we have great relative position on the pre-flop 3-bettor and can face the UTG player with 2 cold on the flop and attempt to get HU in position on the SB.

Coincidentally if you flip the scenario around to a Button, SB, BB dynamic I'm not calling with any part of my range, it will probably all be 4-bet becasue the ranges are wider thus 4-betting doesn't give away anywhere near the information it does in the first scenario plus there is a chance the button will be caught with a dominated offsuit trash hand he may fold which makes 4-betting even more profitable.

These are both essentailly "balance" issues preflop and I will deviate from them if I feel the need to but in terms of overall defense of my ranges I like playing this way as a default.

As I said, look out for a Logic Knot probably sometime in Decemeber going into Balance vs Exploitation a little bit more.

As for the next month or two I have a couple of User Reviews which have been sent to me and I have Micro Surgery "Mid-Term Exam" coming and for December the aforementioned Logic Knot and some live play

For 2012 I'll probably be making a Supernova (Or multi-Nova) run on Stars so I'll probably have a series dedicated to that but not thought too far ahead yet...I'm always open to suggestions and the wheels are always turning :)

    Thanks Again

You include so many unnecessary words in your commentary. It makes your videos nearly unbearable to watch.

I really have no other criticisms and aside from this point I really like your videos.

I may be overly verbose at times however I am from the school of thought that if you take an action the "why" is a lot more important that the "what".

If I just tell you guys what I do, essentially narrating what's on the screen, that is going to have no value at all to anyone aside from potentially a little entertainment value, it certainly won't help you guys in the long run.

I more than likely do repeat myself a little because when I get on a train of thought I have to make sure that I come back to the original conclusion and as much as rambling sometimes isn't that great reading off a script or doing whatever it takes to ensure brevity I can assure you is MUCH worse.

I will take your comments under wing however I will not sacrifice information for brevity but I'm sure there's an acceptable balance somewhere.

Having re-watched I do understand where you are coming from certainly

I took a small break from producing content in October after this and I think a couple of review vids to deal with some personal issues and a little burnout so hopefully in the vids I'm going to do this month I can work on the delivery a bit, I understand how it can be a little frustrating and it is something I'm working on, believe me :)
