28:10 "but with a hand like 34s I'm just going to shove". Presumably b/c you forsee that you are boating up on the flop? :o)

30:29 "I really wanna snap this guy off...K8 would be a call". Next hand you are dealt? K8o. Someone's been going to hand reading class. Or should that be palm reading?

MINUTE 17 I THINK MINRAISE FOLD WITH 33 MUCH BETTER SB IS VERY SHORT AND U CAN CALL OFF HIM AND IF SM1 WAKE UP WITH HAND U CAN FOLD AND HAVE 13 BB WICH IS NOT BAD. AS WELL UR HAND IS READABLE COUSE U ARE GENERAITING FOLD EQUITYI I WOULD CALL SUCH PUSH KJ+ 55+
  • anjik775

    #8

MINUTE 25 QJS U DO HAVE FOLD EQUITY AS LONG AS HE HAS 2R BEHIND AND U HAVE EQUITY IF HE CALLS

T3S SHOVE THE NEXT HAND. REGS CAN CALL U OFF AS U DID ON THE OTHER TABLE WITH KTS SMTH LIKE KJ+ 66+
  • anjik775

    #11

PUSH K2O AGAINST 2 5BB STACKS DOESNT SEEM THAT +EV
  • anjik775

    #12

AND THE CALL WITH K7O ON THE BUBLE HOW DO U JUSTIFY IT ! EVEN IF U AHEAD U HAVE A COIN AND HE IS A BIGGER STACK SO WHAT DO U RESOLVE?
  • lessthanthreee

    #13

    @anjik775, please turn off caps-lock.

33 - 3 stacks behind are good for reshoving. 33 is a +EV shove there but going to be a r/f vs everyone. i think these opponents will reshove too wide for me to open raise. i want to take the less exploitable play.

QJs - is not strong enough vs his 3x BTN open range. he might fold 1 out of 50 times. but that is not enough FE to justify the extremely loose shove.

T3s - I agree, they can. but the majority of regs wont call wide enough in this spot. which is why i chose to shove.

K2o - ive done the SnG wiz work on this, unknowns dont call wide enough here. its close.

K7o - cant find the hand, but im sure I called a loose player. those spots arent difficult to evaluate. its just an equity calculation with his range with the stack set-up. I can do the calculation for you if you tell me which minute the hand is?

    thanks for your comments

34:20 you have A3o utg+1 and folded it.i looked at holdemresources and due to the pushingrange utg+1 you can push A3o. So it is not a negative edge, or did i miss enything ?
  • lessthanthreee

    #15

@btotheassi - holdemresources is a nash calculator. I am using an exploitative strategy (a program like sng wizard), this means folding more hands in early position because our opponents will not be calling a correct nash range. this is how we adjust to those differing call ranges.

The guy with 77 at about 19mins.
With only 2.5BB, in last place an effective pot of T695 what would you call T245 for?
  • Mark1790

By the way I think your stuff is great.

41:14 K7o imho fold on the bubble. Great movie.
  • ImmortalDark

    #19

41:14 even vs 100% pushrange from SB we have -ev call
  • ImmortalDark

    #20

    great play, perfect! =)

    K7o bubble call.

    SB - 100.0%, Any two
    BB - 27.6%, 44+ A2s+ A4o+ K6s+ K8o+ Q8s+ QTo+ JTs

thats the nash range. ok so i was 1 combination off! certainly not horrible once you consider meta-game benefits + FGS.

@mark1790 , oh i didnt realise how short he was. i guess its ok to overcall his last 3bbs with the pot odds he is getting if UTG folds (which he might do a fair amount). with 5bbs its an easy fold. with 4 i probably fold too.

9min in: the guy on button button is clearly setting up a shove on river with his sizing on turn, you cannot call there without being prepared to call rivershove.
  • lessthanthreee

    #23

@crabluva, i think its close. its a really tough spot. it could go either way on the turn. i dont think hes going to ship 100% of rivers and he could be vbetting worse TP on the turn to check back the river. i could certainly fold the turn instead.

    Hi lessthanthree!

I have a question about AK at 29:00. Why is it an easy shove even considering all dead money in the pot?
Why do we need this coinflip at blind level 15\30? If we fold we lose 120 chips and we need to invest 1480
to win 1900 which gives us 1 to 1,28 odds. Our opponent is very likely a fish so i doubt that his range will be wide after this huge reraise so a coinflip is the best case scenario for us.

    28:45
Why do you think it is profitable to push K6o here? If we think that SB will call us with 8% range
and BB with 10% range, than we have to push K9o+. And also if we get called, we will be way behind and we will lose
more than half of our stack. Wouldn't it be better to save our stack for the bubble?
  • sileekhunt

38:45 we have 2 overs & a gutshot, but very poor equity vs any pair/x. Dont mind b/f but isn't bet/call too optimistic?

    Great vids though thanks.
