Stopped watching after the T5o resteal, because that´s for me a pretty obvious sign, that he can´t be a good MSS player.

what the problem to resteal w t5o?
  • Vampyr09

    #13

If you resteal somelink like t5o, u have to resteal there like 80% and that cant be good against any opponent.
  • Vampyr09

    *somelink = something

I personally also don't like to resteal with T5o, but it was explained: BU folds 71% this is already ok if you make resteal with any2 -> direct +EV.

You should take into consideration that hero doesn't play this limit himself, he only has statistics. That means for his opponent it's much harder to resist without a hand in this spot.

Hero is also a winning MSS player at a distance of over 2mil hands.

from blind to +ev resteal we need something ~60% of sucess 3bet, we 3bet 2.5+ dead money on blind. if not blind and we 3bet 3xsize we need 66% fe.

I doesnt said, that he is a loosingplayer, i just said, that the T5o resteal is enough information for me, that he isnt a good mss player (or maybe just coach, dunno).

In my eyes, it´s pretty worse, if you explain a move with "he doesnt play this limit himself", because it´s a video for beginner. If they see a move like "3bet T5o" because it´s +ev of some statistics, they just could do the same.
But if villain has some stats of hero, it´s just a pretty bad move, because the foldto4bet statistic is like 80%, and THAT make it just a pretty bad introduction for beginner.

But now i´m outa here, because it´s not my job to train some coaches. I guess you could have some helpful suggestions, what you do with that suggestions is not in my hand.

Can you explain why a set-mine at 7.20ish (holding 10 10 ) isnt one of your decisions? I think that the implied odds of having a midsize/small stack vs. his strong range (Which is why you chose to fold) is giving you value to ping a set?? Thank you for the video!! Really enjoyed it btw...tx
  • Milename

sorry for my engls. Stack 36bb, he is regular, and we can't stack him all time when we give set(for example T36, w ak he just cbet/fold or check/fold, but fish never fold ak here). he good barreling and i cant do anything on postflop vs him, if you can play very good postlop, that easy call on preflop, but if dont know what you need do on different board texture, easyst just fold preflop.
