Could it be correct to let villain auto-profit (on average) in HU after calling a minraise?
He still has to invest money preflop to get in a profitable auto-profit situation.
Therefore, only getting an auto-profit situation does not mean the hand was played +EV.

    What do you think?

talking about letting SB have an auto-profit continuation bet on the flop in headsup no limit texas hold'em after BB calls a minraise.

A headsup game is zero-sum: One guy's win is another guy's loss

Auto profit refers to profiting directly on that street alone, without any consideration for further streets.

So if you are auto-profiting with your Preflop steal, then even if you gave up 100% of the time postflop you still make money.

Same goes when you Flop Cbet 100% (say, with a half pot bet) and villain folds more than 33% of the time.

If SB was able to auto-profit postflop, then perhaps BB is playing too tight. But remember that BB's main objective with the blind defense is not to make money, but to mitigate his losses (lose less than 1BB)

i like maths but some of the sums that would turn up during a game online wouldnt give me enough time to work it out inside my head
and my thoughts on SB steal is that my calling range is a bit wider than normal in BB because i have position on SB
