I think opponent can easily have 8x for probe betting turn. J doesn't seem like a good bluffing card for the opponent. It does improve few hands, such as Jx, T9, QT. But opponent can still have hands such as KQ, KT, AQ, AK, AT that he is not going to bluff with.
    What do you think?

Hi, I think villain is much more likely to be probe betting turn with Jx than 8x, for two main reasons: a) there are a lot more Jx combos in villain's preflop range, and b) Jx can clearly get value, while many 8x hands are too thin to value bet. In addition to that I think Jx is more likely than 8x to only bet half pot on the river, since 8x will be part of a more polarized range (trips+) which may choose to bet bigger. Whether or not he has those bluffing hands in his betting range or not doesn't seem relevant, because they would probably fold to our river raise anyway... the main thing we want to focus on is villain's Jx and 8x combos. Does that help clear things up?

Thanks for the comment. I explained it poorly, but the idea was that by not probe betting 8x we give villain free equity. But given that we can have A8,K8,Q8 with one overcard, we shouldn't worry about that.

did you just copy/paste patux's comment? In addition to what I wrote above, I would definitely bluff with plenty of KT and KQ combos, so there's no reason for villain to probe bet turn with 8x.

    23min you went wrong mate.
Your action is good (bet) your betsize is suboptimal, should bet 100% of pot. (I assume that)
