Button is the most profitable position and our calling range should be relatively big because we have the absolute position when the action goes postflop. Our coach will talk about ranges and many important aspects of calling on the button. Enjoy!

    on 2s3h6h villian opens utg and board favours his range, but actually in raw equity the BTN calling range is also condensed and strong. Even is btn is not flatting 66 without AA/KK he still has the equity advantage. If he's flatting 66 then this increases further

    Board: 2d3h6h
    Equity Win Tie
    MP2 50.17% 48.05% 2.12% { QQ-77, ATs+, KJs+, QJs, JTs, T9s, AQo+ }
    MP3 49.83% 47.71% 2.12% { 55+, A2s+, KTs+, QTs+, JTs, AJo+, KQo }

    I always feel like i dont get enough folds in this spot as UTG opener to bet aggressively or is the theory that because our bluffs will have alot of equity vs his PP then we should just bet?

    You have a point, more and more we see that the OOP player, even as the PFR, has to check a lot. This is one of the few cases where I think betting frequentely is fine. And that's a big reason yes, our bluffs have decent equity against his bluffcatchers, we are rarely dead, and our value is quite good.

    REally cool to learn about calling from the button. For a beginner is difficult to decide if fold or call or maybe raise. Tks guys for teaching us!
