Around the 30:00 you talk about the 3bet of the BTN in the AQs hand. I don’t think it’s too weird to 2x the original raise from the BTN. Calling seems close with the original raiser still behind. The hand isn’t suitable for a Cbet video, because only the pre-flop aggressor can Cbet (Cbet=Continuation bet) on the flop.

The hand was indeed interesting and a good video I think.

I agree with everything except that the call is marginal. Given the fact that MP just flatted he almost certainly never has a monster so we should not be worried about getting 4bet off of our hand.

Looks like I misread the hand. It was a raise from you from UTG and MP2 called and SB makes the small 3bet. That’s makes the 3bet sizing weird for sure. Then there is a decent change he will play multi way out of position if you aren’t 4betting.

Thanks for the Video! But it looks like you miss a lot of value by small cbet sizings. Increased sizing can put more pressure on capped hands as well, like 23:03 when you have AhKh. I would cbet bigger here with the plan to bet most Turn hands and try to fold his most likely holdings 77 88 99 TT, but I agree that 7 is a bad card and should be checked back. Plus I would increase preflop opening sizings as people tend to call much wider nowadays, especially to minopens. Otherwise good concept for MTT :)

Hey @mantelo thanks! At 23:03 I don't think villain is going to be folding any pocketpair higher as 66's on this turn. By betting 648 it only needs to work 38% of the time, if we are up against 77+ and every Qx combo he could have (I don't count Q3 Q5 and Q7 since those are unlikely to be in his range) We still have 51.58% equity.

Sorry my calculations were wrong here if I'm correct. It only needs to work 29.5% of the time.

6:00 I would rather go higher on a flop. Shouldn't we price a drawing hands more?

Hi Swist, the thing with draws is we block a lot of them. Basically the only draws he could have is pocket 66's and Jx, however, We block AJ and JK and JQ should not be in his 3bet calling for the most part. Draws are such a small part of his range here that I think a bet of 2.5k is totally fine.

Check back / not cbet AK and AQ in Ace high flop in lower buy ins is missing a lot of value. The same goes for cbeting 30% pot. This goes double for poker sites full of fish. They will play 3 barrels with 3rd pair.

I can this this working in super tuesday where players will not call you with second best too often, nut against random fish is losing value.

@IIIProIII you are right. I don't recommend going for low betsizings on lower stakes, however these tournaments are more towards mid stakes
