势头<\/strong>是一个在体育运动中普遍使用的术语，用来表现一支队伍或一个运动员的精神状态。成功可以提高一个玩家的自我价值，让他感到自己非常强大，相信自己实力，这种积极心态甚至能提高玩家的战斗力。<\/p>

在扑克比赛中，势头通常是左右胜利或失败的众多因素之一。一个玩家在短时间内多次加倍他的筹码会产生积极的势头。这些成功会让他感觉更强大，更自信，控制整个牌桌，不断地建立起筹码优势。<\/p>

势头也有副作用。经历过下风期的玩家都出现过这种现象：记不起上次牌面帮到他是什么时候了。这会导致打牌不专心，做出很多错误的决定。由于自信随着赢率的降低而不断降低，想结束这一系列的负面结果是很困难的。玩家会认为下一次抛硬币仍会对自己不利， 下一个超强听牌仍不会到来，下一个赛期仍会是失败的。消极的势头会在很长时间上影响玩家的决定。<\/p>
