如果一个范围既倾向于很强的牌，或倾向于很弱的牌，那么这个牌面范围是极化的。极化的范围可以描述成“坚果或一无所有”( \"nuts or nothing\" )，例如一个牌手想通过超额下注表现出自己持有葫芦，他既可能真的有葫芦，也可能一无所有，想通过诈唬拿下底池。他不会用中等强度的牌这么做，因此他的牌面范围是极化的。<\/p>
