Chris Ferguson毫无疑问是当今扑克界不得不提到的几个名字之一。这位永远出奇冷静的美国扑克玩家出生与1963年4月11日，洛杉矶。他之所以这么赫赫大名，不仅仅是因为他扑克上取得的重大成功，还因为他丰富的个人生活。<\/p>

长发和满脸胡须是他的特征之一，因此他也得到了一个“耶稣”的绰号。当然，他并不靠这一点吸引我们的注意，最值得提及的，永远还是他的扑克上的成就。<\/p>

不过，他并不是把所有的时间都倾注在扑克上，他还在UCLA大学学习，享受大学生活的同时，也在不断享受进步的乐趣。<\/p>

\n首次接触扑克<\/span>\n<\/div>

\nChris的父母都是数学博士，因此在他的童年时代就教会了他很多扑克上的数学原理。尽管如此，那个时侯的Ferguson还并没有把自己全身心的投入扑克的世界里。直到1989年，他在开始经常出现在Internet Relay Chat (IRC)上玩现金游戏。 这样的经历一直持续到1994年，这个时候Ferguson开始参加各种赛事，一早就在洛杉矶的一个小型赛事上夺得冠军，紧接着在1995年，他参加了WSOP赛事，但却没有获得冠军。\n<\/p>

\nChris (左图)1981年就在洛杉矶的加利福利亚大学开始了自己的学习生涯，专业是计算机科学，用他的话说，这是一项“人工智能”学科。1986年毕业，不过好像他对大学生活意犹未尽，之后他一直待在学校长达13年，学习信息科学。他的导师是Leonard Kleinrock博士，后者创立了一种新的技术，这就是因特网的“队列理论”。\n<\/p>

\n赛事成功<\/span>\n<\/div>

\nChris Ferguson很早就对各种线下赛情有独钟， 自从在1995年参加了他的第一次WSOP赛事之后，尽管没有获得奖金，不过直到2000年，他终于开始了自己的奖金之旅。\n<\/p>

\n首先，他获得了$2,500的7张牌赛事冠军，获得奖金 $151,000美元，因此他也参加了主赛事，在主赛事里他发挥出色，进入到最后的决赛单挑局，并且在那里击败了他的对手T.J. Cloutier。Ferguson获得奖金$1,500,000，并且获得了他的第二枚金手链。<\/p>
