\n<\/strong><\/font><\/span>按照本项赛事的规则，参与本赛事的选手年龄必须在<\/span>50<\/font><\/span>周岁以上，不过仍然有<\/span>2,218<\/font><\/span>名选手报名参加了这项赛事，这创下了本想赛事参与人数的一个新的记录。年纪最大的一名选手是<\/span>91<\/font><\/span>岁的<\/span>Harold White.<\/font><\/span><\/p>

Brunson<\/font>哪里去了？
\n<\/strong>这项赛事持续了<\/span>3<\/font><\/span>天，比赛选手几乎全部都是由业余扑克爱好者组成。<\/span>Fred Berger<\/font><\/span>是决赛桌唯一一名曾经拿到过<\/span>WSOP<\/font><\/span>赛事冠军的人，在<\/span>2000<\/font><\/span>年他曾经在买入费为<\/span>$3,000<\/font><\/span>美元的德州扑克底池限注赛事中拿到过一根<\/span>WSOP<\/font><\/span>金手链。在他这几年的扑克之旅上也总共拿到过<\/span>7<\/font><\/span>次奖金，不过在这次的比赛里，他被<\/span>Lacourse<\/font><\/span>淘汰，最终只获得第<\/span>5<\/font><\/span>名。
\n<\/font><\/span>当然，比赛也有一些扑克名宿参加，像是<\/span>Amarillo Slim, Humberto Brenes, Billy Baxter, Johnny Chan, Tony Ma, Tom McEvoy <\/font><\/span>和<\/span>Men Nguyen<\/font><\/span>等。不过他们都没有进入决赛。而大家更为关注的偶像<\/span>Doyle Brunson <\/font><\/span>则是更干脆的没有参赛。<\/span><\/p>

单挑：退休警察对阵退休消防员
\n<\/strong><\/span>Lacourse<\/span>和<\/span>Eberle<\/span>都曾经在俄亥俄州的紧急事务部门工作，不过现在他们为了一个共同的目标走到了拉斯维加斯来，争夺梦寐以求的那根金手链。不过比赛并没有想象中的那么激烈，大约<\/span>10<\/span>分钟之后，退休的警察就击败了退休消防员。<\/span><\/p>

最后一把
