[Live Ticker] - World Poker Tour Prague 2011 [Livestream spoilers]

I have some more or less accurate chip counts once again:

VojtaR: 100k
Producent77: ~60k
PokerNoob: 52k

The rest of the interesting players I will try to make a count on during the last level of play, that starts in less than 10 minutes.

Both Producer77 and PokerNoob has been picking up some more chips during the last hands, and PokerNoob is up to 60k, while Producer77 has 75k-ish.

VojtaR still just over 100k and Suppencasper at around 38k

Some others:

Martin Stazsko: 35k
John Eames: 55k
Steve O'Dwyer: 55k

We are 10 minutes in to the last level of the day. The blinds are now 500/1,000 with an ante of 100.

Suppencasper has worked his way up a bit as well, now up to 61k

Steve O'Dwyer is out, after repushing all in with 98 on the flop T72, and getting a call by KK. Turn and river was T - 8, and he told me he would re-enter tomorrow.

There is now less than 30 minutes left of the day, and 99 players left in the field.

15 minutes to go, and PokerNoob batteling it out against John Eames.

I catch the action on the turn when Eames checks to PokerNoob, who fires a bet of 6,5k in to the pot of roughly 12k, and Eames calls.

After the river falls, the board looks like this: J:s J:h Q:c - A:s - 3:s

Eames checks again, and PokerNoob fires 12,5k.

Eames sinks in to the tank for about 3 minutes, before he eventually folds his hand.

As mentioned, there is just 15 minutes left, and the tournament director will soon announce that the last hands of the day will be played.

I have been informed that there won't be any officiall chip counts after today, but instead they will do it after the redraw of seats that will be done when they are done playing Day 1B tomorrow.

That means I will do my best to catch some important chip stacks for you guys, but it will have to be done now, before play stops for the night.

I will be back with them in a little while.

So, the play is stopped after almost 10 hours of play, and it has been a pretty good day for most of our players that will enter Day 2 on Friday.

The average stack is 72 947, and there are 93 players left of the 231 that started the day.

The chip count among our players are:

• Producer77: 142k
• VojtaR: 127k
• PokerNoob: 110k
• Suppencasper: 84k

And a couple of other well known players:

• John Eames: 48k
• Martin Staszko: 44k

Unfortunatelly players like Sedrick from the community, as well as well known pros like Steve O'Dwyer, Eugene Katchalov, Sam El Sayed and WPT Player of the year Andy Frankenberger were among those who got busted and will have to give it another shot tomorrow during Day 1B if they want to be able to sit on the final table on Sunday.

Some of the more notable hands from the day are these:

• And last but not least, one of the last hands of the day, seen in the last post just above here, when PokerNoob takes down a pot on the river, against John Eames, to build his stack up to over 100k.

I have been informed by the tournament director will actually put together an official chip count during the night, but it might not be e-mailed to me until tomorrow, so until then I cant provide any additional chip counts, or a Top 10 list. But I will do it as soon as I can tomorrow for all of you to enjoy!

God afternoon fellow PokerStrategists and welcome back to the live ticker from WPT Prague!

As MJPerry just mentioned, we are just a few minutes away from the start of Day 1B here in the Corinthia Hotel & Casino.

So far 130 players are registered, but with 4 levels of late registration we can expect the field to grow a lot.

I will make my best to find the russian PokerStrategist Romazzsgk as soon as possible, as well as other possible members of the community.

The players were just told that they have 1 minute to take their seats, so cards will be in the air very shortly!

Just like yesterday, the blind levels will be 60 minutes long, and the blinds will start at 50/100.

Dinner break will be split in to two 75 minute breaks where half of the field leaves for dinner first, and then the second half.

As soon as the decks has been shuffled and dealt, I will take the first walk of the day through the card room!

So far not much interesting have been going on at the tables.

I have managed to catch a few interesting players, like the two Team PokerStars Pros Michael Keiner from Germany and Marcin Horecki from Poland. Anton Wigg, the winner of EPT Copenhagen 2010, is also at the tables today after busting yesterday.

I have managed to find three PokerStrategists so far, two of these are on the same table, with just one seat between them:

Akia, who already lost 1/3 of is stack and is down to 20k
maddyhh, who is at startingstack

And there is also a romanian guy named IamN3CR0S, still at starting stack.

We also have our first casualty in the field. It was the young swede, and a friend of mine, Tobias Garp, who got it in on the turn with a flopped set of sixes, unfortunatelly his opponent turned his set of tens to take him out.

290 players registered, and 289 left.

The registrations are now up to 315, which together with yesterdays 239 is just one player away from the old WPT Europe record of 555 players, set in Vienna last year. Seems like the record will be broken!

I just ran in to our promotion winner Romazzsgk from Russia.

He is up to 35k, and said he got a pretty good start of the day.

The blinds are now up to 75/150 since a few minutes back.

The German PokerStars.com Pro Michael Keiner is down to 10k after not being able to let go of his pocket aces when his opponent moved all in on the flop 7T3.

His opponent had flopped a set of sevens, and turn and river blanked for the German pro.

The record is broken! Player #556 just registered, and the tournament director announced it to all the players in the room.

I also noticed that Florian "FA_Morgoth" Langmann is at the same table as Romazzsgk. Langmann is still at his starting stack of 30k

Internet has been down for quite some while for us here, but now we seem to be up and running again, lets hope it stays that way.

All the players have started playing again after being on a 15 minute break, and just before the break I managed to get some new chip counts and find a couple of more players:
