TwiceT Wins PokerStrategy.com TV World Championship 'Coach Heroes' Qualifier
10 coaches started out at 16:00 GMT today in a Sit and Go on PokerHeaven to try their luck at winning a $2,500 package to the PokerStrategy.com TV World Championship, but only one prevailed. Congratulations to our Black Member and coach TwiceT!

"Certainly two of the best heads-up players in the English community" said our moderator pleno1 as he was commentating the heads-up action in the PokerStrategy.com TV World Championship 'Coach Heroes' qualifier.
Both the eventual winner twicet and his opponent thelastnail are enjoying significant success in the heads-up field and they made sure the final battle of the qualifier was one to watch.
In the end it was Austrian TwiceT who got the best of it. The players were all-in preflop in the last hand with TT holding QJs against TLN's A6s. TLN flopped a flush draw and turned an additional gutshot, but TwiceT had already paired his jack and dodged all of the outs his opponent had.

With this victory under his belt, TwiceT can already clear his schedule for the end of November this year.
He just qualified for a $2,500 package for one of the seven 6-max qualification heats which will be played out offline in London and recorded for TV broadcast.
The winner of each heat will then travel to London for a second time and play in the Grand Final which is played 8-handed - the seven winners and PokerStrategy.com founder and CEO korn.
"Will probably spend it on Champagne"
Being the true gentleman that he is, TwiceT agreed to join the moderators marcps and pleno1 for a quick chat in the coaching player after the tournament was over.
Asked about the heads-up against his friend TLN, TwiceT said that his opponent was probably the better NL Heads-Up cash game player, but with blinds increasing and effective stacks shrinking, he saw a growing edge.
"I have played tons of HU Sit and Gos in the past so I probably have an edge with 25-30bb effective, but on the other hand I have played mostly PLO recently."
"I thought that he would probably not push enough when stacks get shallower and therefore have a slight disadvantage."
"Even though we know each other quite well as friends, we have never played heads-up against each other so we don't have much history. In the end I was just the lucky guy."
When considering the prospect of making it to the Grand Final and into the money, he told us that if he would probably spend it on Champagne right there in London. "Not like anyone is taking home any money." he said with a big laugh.
