Participating in this Rake Race is quite simple: all you need is an account on Cake Poker which is tracked through PokerStrategy and you're good to go. The 15 players who play the most raked hands between 00:00 GMT on March 6 and 24:00 on March 22 are rewarded.
The Cake Poker Race takes place exclusively for PokerStrategy players! We will keep you up-to-date on the current standings through regular news.
Basically, everyone who plays a lot of hands has good chances to win this race, as the amount of rake isn't relevant - only the fact whether you generate rake in your hands is taken into account.
We talk about a 'raked hand' whenever a player participates in a hand with a pot from which rake is deducted. You are participant to a hand as soon as you are dealt cards in that round. If no flop is dealt, for instance, there is no rake and the hand doesn't count as 'raked'.
