$2.5M GTD in 888poker's XL Winter Series
From Sunday onwards, players at 888poker can join the two-week long XL Winter Series, with lots of Mystery Bounty events and a multi-flight $500,000 Main Event.
Most major poker rooms are starting the new year with a big tournament series and of course 888poker is joining the mix as well with a Winter edition of their popular XL Series.
The XL Winter Series is starting on January 15, offering 130 events in total until January 31 with most buy-ins ranging from $5.50 up to $55. A prize pool of $2.5 million is guaranteed in total and there are daily chances to qualify via freerolls and satellites.
Apart from the Main Event, some of the highlights of the XL Winter Series include three events with a six-figure prize pool, including the $109 Mystery Bounty Opening this Sunday as well as the $160 Mystery Bounty 8-Max with a $200K prize pool, and a $2,100 Super High Roller 6-Max on January 29.
The multi-flight $500K Main Event is starting on Wednesday, January 25 with starting flights available for a buy-in of $250 until January 30, right before the second tournament day is played. Shortly after, the Main Event will then be decided on January 31 with the Final Table.

As they did in previous editions, 888poker is also ramping up their social media promotion of the XL Series, hosting a couple of live streams on the 888poker Twitch channel for the biggest events of the series.
During these live streams, 888poker will be giving free XL Winter Series tickets which you can also get your hands on during the upcoming Twitch broadcast of the 888poker LIVE Madrid Festival.
