How to get back in the lab after a losing session
It might be the hardest thing to do in poker but it's an amazing habit to put in a study session after a big losing day at the tables.
A big losing session really sucks and forcing yourself to get in the lab afterwards hurts even more. You have to relive the hands you messed up as well as the bad beats that cost you so much.
But studying your errors is something you must do after a losing session. Our good friend bencb had a really tough session during WCOOP this month and not only did he get in the lab the next day, he did it live on Twitch. He used his own training tool Pairrd to review the tough spots he faced.
You really should check out this video both to learn a lot from Ben but also to see how to do a session review after a losing session.
It isn't cheap to join Raise Your Edge, although their partner product Pairrd is much more affordable. However, even if you are on no budget, the RYE YouTube channel is a treasure trove of free poker advice.
If you like the look of Pairrd, Barry Carter recently reviewed it for PokerStrategy.
You can also check out a custom hand review and quiz Ben made for one of our members. You should be able to view it for free if you create a free Pairrd account.
